  1. What about if you hate the feckin County clap yer hands - it is at times like these that we should be traditional.
  2. Sunday sees the final game of Caley Thistle’s best ever season, and if you don’t know where it is or what’s at stake you must have been in the space station with that Canadian chap. Tickets for our end are selling like hot cakes as you would imagine, people are buzzing and the game is being broadcast on Sky. It’s as high as profile gets in Scotland. We are on course for Europe with a win, so please wear your holiday costumes. Anyone who has a sombrero please feel free to dig it out of the cupboard and wear the thing. There will be inflatables and beach balls for all. If we don’t qualify we will be disappointed but we can still celebrate our most successful season ever. Of course having a party doesn’t imply going daft. Please - no pyrotechnics, no chanting about you know what’s and please try not to lob either yourself or anything else on the pitch whilst people are running about on it. And no streaking for God’s sake - it's only May. The Council have decided that no licenced premises will be open in Dingwall before the game, so if you are there early (especially off the train) please respect the locals and the fact that their places of worship will be open before ours is. At least the Caley Club in Greig Street will be open after the game and there will be a ceilidh band playing - Full Tilt Brian tells me, and hopefully it sounds like grounds for celebration. Brian also tells me that bus tickets are on sale at the Caley Club on Saturday between 2 and 3 - get down there and buy them so you won't be disappointed. I know that, banter aside, our rivals will wish us all the best if we qualify for Europe on Sunday and I’ll take this opportunity to congratulate them on a magnificent first SPL season. Both sides will have a support that does the Highlands proud on Sunday, we’re sure of that. The nation will be watching, so let's show them how to have a good time. Davie Balfour Caley Jags Together
  3. That puts a smile on my face for the rest of the morning .... think Adams should do one of those daily diary things where you tear off the next page and get a quote of the day...... sell it at Christmas and call it "Seethings Greetings" with both words also being individually appropriate !!! "...We are one of the best teams in the SPL this season" "We are Ross County football club, we are a wee team from the north..."
  4. I have been present at most of ICT's historic games in the past 19 years but much to my great disappointment (and shame) I will not be able to go on Sunday. I will be supporting and willing the team on from a distance to get over the finishing line and finish off the season in 3rd - where they deserve to be. Please everbody who is going give an extra shout on my behalf.
  5. Feck me - how sexist _ I forgot to mention the appearances of Lizi, Old Caley girl and Maimie
  6. Good enuff shout but ya had better change the venue now and whisper it before the game - I have a better venue !! http://youtu.be/F7MwXniOD44

or the pink panther theme: Doran - Doran - Doran Doran Doran Doran Doraaaan. He's wee, he's tough, he doesn't score enough...he's Aaron Doran, on the wing. Sure he'd take it as good fun...maybe
  8. Hogg for me is the only surprise. Shame he's away, as I think he's been very good since his return from injury. Mathieson I thought might get another year, but perhaps Butcher has a better young keeper lined-up (likely Robbie Thomson) and it's no surprise that Morrison is offski as he never really cemented a place in the team. Having watched Sutherland as a centre forward in the U20 game the other week, I'd have been inclined to give him another year as long as that was the position he was played in. Playing him as a winger (I thought he was meant to be the new Jonny Hayes‽) was a waste and totally ineffective.
  9. I'm starting to get the feeling that we are freeing up the wages to try and attract higher players than we are used to. So sad to see Chris go. Done tremendously well from coming back from that horrific injury!
  10. A bit like this.........
  11. Hoggy has confirmed on twitter that he is away too. Pretty gutted to see the big man go but I guess he would be one of the club's higher earners and at this stage in his career coming back from injury he needs to be guaranteed game time. We are very lucky to have the centre halves that we do and I guess we cannot offer him a guaranteed place in the team. Wish him and everyone else leaving all the very best.
  12. And even that will not be enough... PREDICTION: We'll be nervous and scrappy in the first half until we hear of Motherwell's 2-0 lead at Perth. This news will free our minds and we'll cruise to a comfortable 4-0 win making ST J's 3-2 comeback irrelevant
  13. At Achanalt now. Going to stop for the day. 23 miles from Dingwall. Nearly there!
  14. Ryan Christie also signing. I believe that Polworth and Christie have both signed 2 year deals. No idea about Essons contract extension

An unsung hero without doubt and maybe the most important cog in the management wheel.
  16. Happy birthday to Gringo JNR as well.
  17. "a terse Derek Adams did not want to be drawn on Richard Brittain's injury". a terse Derek Adams? an erse Derek Adams
  18. If sales carry on as they have been we should sell out before close of business tomorrow. This would mean that there would be no tickets available on Sunday. Don't leave it to chance, down to the last 100 tickets, so pop down tomorrow. The stadium is not open on Saturday so tomorrow is probably your last chance to get your tickets.
  19. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IWTLkLOsHzI Hi I recorded this at the awards, if u missed it then here is the awards getting presented. Sorry a bit shaky but I couldn't really get the best view and my arm was getting sore hahha

As for the last 20 years it really has been a dream, loads of highs and lows but thats football, some clubs have shot up through the leagues and where are they now, overspent and bust, to be sitting in 3rd place going in to the last game of the season in the SPL, well I have to pinch myself sometimes, party mode in Dingwall regardless of the result, knowing we have knocked our rivals out of a cup and will still finish higher than the shadows icing on the cake, theres a lot of pressure on County just now as they feel they must win just to give something back to their fans and now its a two horse race for that final Euro spot Cant wait for Sunday, I haven't been posting much of late as have been so busy but it has been a Terry-ific season and Sunday could be a Mo-mentus occasion. Well done to all the staff, players, management, guardians of the club and fans from merger to present date as we wouldnt be where we are now without your help.
  21. Gary Warren got the fans player of the year and Billy got the players player of the year. Gary Warren also won the caleyjagstogether poty with Josh getting the caleyjagstogether young poty. Billy McKay got the caleyjagstogether most improved player of he year.

Matthew 8:26 And his supporters came to him, and awoke him, saying, Butcher, save us: we perish. And he said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm over the beach of Dingwall. But the supporters marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him! Later that day a great shadowy seethe decended over the Isle of Black and a great euphoria lit up the Moray Firth skyline south of this dark land.
