  1. I can exclusively reveal the new away strip. I can't see this causing any issues at all.

  3. A big hand to the fantastic support - keep it up for next season. It's also great to see such a good bond between TB and the fans.

  6. I almost totally agree with the above post IHE. Times this season where we appeared to have learned from mistakes, spot on, a little leniency here though that can be put down to a number of factors but imo a lot of it is inexperience and the panic derived from that. The core situation is correct and that all comes down to money, as does the players advertising themselves for moving on and you are perfectly right that has enormous impact on a side. It is unbalancing and upsetting though something ICT and supporters have to learn to live with If only ( I know the most stupid two words ) the team had stuck together for another season, as Doran was trying to hint at earlier on, that team would have been capable of anything. It was not to be. Now we have a very much better starter pack for the new season which will give T & M more reason to build up the team confidence factor so hopefully we will get a flyer again and find ourselves challenging at the top when he filters in his new finds. Personally my excitement and expectations are higher than ever for the new season. Having said that and knowing the budget limitations I will again settle for top six but it would not surprise me to see us at the top of the league at some stage of the season. Have a happy close season all

  10. The problem, as I understand it, is that whilst there's perfectly "safe" smoke bombs which are cool burning and don't emit flames or sparks, there's also lots of more dodgy products out there which do. You then have military grade stuff which are hot burning and a real fire/burn hazard and these are still available from some surplus stores. The issue for police/authorities is that if they don't have a blanket ban on all of them then you run the risk of someone inadvertently using something dangerous and/or needing a process for checking what is being allowed in. Aside from the fire/burn issue, none of these things are designed for use in a confined location....and whilst a football ground may not be seen as that, it doesn't offer people the ability to easily and quickly move away from the smoke if they suffer any respiratory problems. Again, most of them are "safe" insofar as they don't emit anything noxious, but not all of them are. Also, whilst looking into the subject earlier this season, I took a look at stadium regulations for a variety of clubs across Europe and every one I looked at listed Smoke Bombs etc as being a prohibited item. Using Google you can turn up just as many instances of fans being arrested, imprisoned and banned from matches/stadiums abroad as you see for the UK. Just having another Google search of the subject and it looks like dozens of cases have gone through the courts in the past 18 months....so it would seem there's a huge clampdown on their use. Personally, as much as I quite like seeing it, it's not worth the risk....either in terms of causing harm to yourself and others, or for the consequences of being caught.

  11. Nothing wrong with pointing out "faults", IMO. What irks me is the failure by some to realise that with the resources available to the club then we're not going to have perfect players and a depth of squad to allow us to cover all eventualities. They need to appreciate that, all things considered, the team did more than make up for any short comings by finishing 4th in the league.
