  1. I understand the clubs response to the calls for a minutes silence. However feel mikey is one of the rare fans who perhaps can be meritted this honour. Alternatively, us as fans can show our respect to mikey by chanting 'one mikey diamond' (as ive seen suggested elsewhere) as the teams enter the field of play. Perhaps also during or even after the game also. Rest peacefully mikey. You shall be missed

  2. Gutting news, he was ICT through and through and also just a lovely guy. Away days will never be the same without him. I think a minutes silence will be very appropriate for tomorrow, a reward for a man who barely missed a game home or away.

  4. The flag was originally owned by Doresboy (first pic below), not sure if it is still him who has it as I seem to recall him offering it up for someone to take to away games a few years later ..... I actually took that picture on 19th October 2002 at Recreation Park in Alloa !!! PS - no thistle mentioned ....... (as seen in second pic with Mantis/Naelifts) There's a few crackers from that day .... Govan Jaggie, Bronson and CaleyD all looking a lot younger, Uncle Albert looking the same age, and even Wanderer and the elusive Donview !!! Those were the days

  5. Could not picture who he was until I looked at the facebook page linked above, but recognised him instantly from that. Let me echo everyone else's sentiments and also offer my own condolences to friends and family. I can totally understand the response from the club so the idea of the fans showing respect to Mikey by way of a chant is probably a better idea and perhaps one that could be co-ordinated with the club so they can maybe do a tannoy announcement a few minutes before kick-off and ask everyone to join in? Too late to get it into the programme, but maybe a few flyers in the concourse that would let folk know what was going to happen could be arranged ..... Thinking about it, getting the crowd to roar for him, and that spurring ICT on to victory in the first game of the season would be a very fitting tribute !

  6. I would love to know how your 'current location' is pronounced! I'm assuming It's a real place and you weren't simply annoyed at being asked where you currently reside?!

  8. I really can't see them having too much difficulty winning their league this season and getting up to the North Superleague for the first time. The regionalisation has helped them. They've only got 9 opponents and none of them are particularly formidable. Inverness City Nairn St. Ninian Forres Thistle Fochabers Dufftown Buckie Rovers Burghead Thistle Whitehills Islavale Portgordon Victoria I'm expecting a 20 goal return from you, lukemackay!!! No pressure. Apologies if you're the goalkeeper!

  10. Nice little fenced area for the pitch. A decent start - hopefully the on pitch performances match it.

  11. If you look at any of the positions he can play, we have options that are as good if not better than Foran, so you are right to ask the quesion. But in addition to versatility, he takes onto the pitch an abundance of presence, determination and leadership that I believe helps drive his teammates to perform better.

  12. Dont know enough of the new guys to say who will play, but I think we keep our back four from last year. Foran should be in the centre mid role along with Draper, play 2 wingers then Doran in just behind McKay as creator.
