  1. You know I've come to the conclusion that the club are doing almost everything they can to increase attendances already. I've come to accept we are a young club trying to grow its support. We already have the u12 free season tickets and free schools tickets. I would like this extended to u16s but I understand that this would cost the club money and they would need to replace this money if it were to happen. It's a long term project so must be given time. This suddenly has become an issue since we've been successful. It's as if we can't find anything else to discuss as everything on the pitch is good at the moment. Personally I think our core support is about 3000 very loyal folk who seem to attend regularly. Let's embrace that and move on.
  2. Don't forget this game on tonight at 18:00. Curtis Allen might get a run out and the rest of the fringe players too, pop along and give them a shout.
  3. I wonder how much not being part of a community has affected the support.
  4. Just thought i'd post this message for all fellow ICT Fans This summer i had a lovely holiday in Barcelona ,did all the Tourist things & was delighted to stumble upon a friendly wee Scottish Bar .... The Loch Inn The Landlord ( Lawson ) is from Edinburgh (Celtic fan ) although in saying that ...he was full of admiration for ICT He asked me to send an ICT Scarf as he wants to hang it on the wall along with his collection If any ICT fan happens to be planning a trip over any time in the future , you will be treated to a dram on the house ... Just Quote my name .... Monica
  5. We have a core support of maybe about 2000 which after near 20 years in existence is pretty poor IMHO .
  6. No, hang on a minute. Wardlaw. That was it. Gareth Wardlaw.
  7. Livingstone 4-3 Inverness CT, 1998/1999 Great debut for you mate & you didn't shut about it the whole way home! 1 Where were you born? Inverness 1970 2.Where did you your childhood? Crown district 3 When did you start following football in Inverness? No idea but first game was Caledonian circa late 70's / early 80's v's The Zombies. 4 What is you current location? West London
  8. 1 point
Given Johndo has left him out il go. Raven Raven raven raven raven Raven raven raven raven Raven Raven. Think I'd have raven playing a bit deeper with raven to protect the Centre halfs Of raven, and raven, given raven, raven, raven, and raven will be rampaging down the wings. The best part about this team is that all 11 players can play in each position equally well. Genius!
  9. It might actually be better NOT to spread the word abut that since being live on TV is actally a disincentive to people to come and pay through the gate. Its an away match Charles. Its a free taster of what ICT have to offer, not the same as being at a live match for the first time but its a step in the right direction I'll have a word with your mate Tony Hall and see if he can give us a bit of extra coverage on BBC 1 Scotland prior to the game. Never mind the telly come and enjoy the real thing. The real caleyaway experience. I can recommend it!!
  10. Not sure one can say Butcher has assembled a full squad. ?? He certainly has a fine first 11. Not much on the bench though, unless somebody knows different? If we ge injuries or suspensions what can we do about it. The squad seems wafer thin to me. I am told rightly or wrongly that free transfers and loan players can be signed after the deadline if the club has room on the registration forms. We really ought to be looking for back ups. This is not a troll I am genuinly concerned with the bench. You're either a troll, or extremely stupid.

  12. Please spread the word that our great team will be live on TV in less than 2 weeks and please tell the people who you wouldn't normally chat to about football.
  13. Me and my missus are heading there on the 22nd sept for 5 days! I sure I can find time to sample the goods this establishment can supply.
  14. feck it! lets groundshare with clach!
  15. Lowering ticket prices. I know we have the cheapest tickets in the league, but still, they're not exactly 'cheap'! £15-20 adults £10 concessions Under 12 free That is not unreasonable and would benefit everyone!
  16. The fact we only have 2 new players in the first 11 says a lot. There is consistency that we have not had for years. Add to that, Vincent being a far better player and a far more interested player than OTJ we are in a great place. Long may it continue.
  17. No, it's the strip of metalling right beside the firth, parallel to the road. Actually I'm not totally convinced that the club ever did fulfil the planning requirement about the cycle racks but I'd better not say any more since there may be some Council Jobsworth reading this! And I do take your point about the "parking malarky", given that the police have pledged to get tough on people parking harmlessly on the verge beside the road. In complete contrast, anyone attending Ness Bank Church on a Sunday morning can seemingly park anywhere they like actually ON the road and irrespective of the traffic chaos this causes along the Haugh and Castle Road.
  18. It's a ludicrous decision because you have hundreds if not thousands of football fans including ones that are inebriated crossing one of the busiest roads in the country As for your point that has clearly got you seething County had a higher average attendance than us last year and the novelty factor of SPL football would obviously make them have more season ticket holders. What's more with our dwindling numbers at home I can't see any different trend this season especially since we are doing so well. If you are so worked up on stats you please show me that we have more Season ticket holders than them if it keeps you happy Dougal
  19. whats wrong with some of you people? ICT & Hearts have always had a good relationship. Hearts have always been appreciative of ICT's efforts when commemorating the Hearts players who died in the wars and this is another gesture of that goodwill. If it fills the away end then whats the problem! More money in the ICT coffers for food & drink etc; more money in the pubs tills around the city, more hotel rooms booked etc etc This is why i hate football! All this negative BS.
