  1. Its a bit ironic looking back at the comments Butcher made early on in his Hibs tenure where he compared them to Marks and Spencer, and ICT to Aldi. If you look at the retail sector, it's the discount stores like Aldi and Lidl who are on the rise, while the more established franchises like Marks and Spencer are struggling.

  2. Bump. Just a reminder that we have a U20 game at 6pm tonight at TCS vs Dundee United. Could you maybe post a list of which U20s you think should or shouldnt be kept? After the game at is Certainly Rival. Cammy MacKay - A younger keeper that has done really well in the U20s and makes top saves. I remember his first game for the U20s, it was a home game vs St Johnstone and he saved two penalties. He's done well when plays and done very well despite conceding two goals tonight. He went on loan to Clachnacuddin for a month (Not sure how that went) but he's done good. - Keep Nick Draper - He really impressed me vs Hearts 2 weeks ago and made some excellent saves but last month vs Rangers he made a few howlers. Hard to say really but I have already stated I would rather Cammy MacKay but would be interested to see what Draper has to offer. I think money will be the deciding factor - Release Matthew Cooper - Always impresses me when plays and his defending is really good. He is definitely good enough to be a back up but he has been hampered with too many injuries. - Keep Jason Brown - Again another player that impresses me time and time again and I always remember him scoring a bullet header against Clachnacuddin in a friendly. I personally would keep him but send him out on loan for half a season. - Keep Joe Gorman - A very interesting character despite all his social media shanigans he is a good defender and some of his deliveries in the box have been good - Keep (As long as he stays out of trouble) Calum Howarth - A player I would definitely keep but as already stated he is leaving - Release Conor Pepper - Defintelty worth a new deal especially a back up for David Raven at right back if nothing else. He has the talent but hasn't been given the time. He is a player that would sign up for another year but loan him out for half a season and try and prove himself. - Keep Ali Sutherland - Plays a very similar game to Aaron Doran and links up very well with Evans. Scored goals vs Celtic and Rangers youth teams. It would be a massive mistake to let go. - Keep Adam Evans - Holds the ball up very well and I personally feel him and Billy Mckay would work very well together. - Keep Jay Cheyne - I can't remember the last time he played. - Release

  3. Reminds me of the time I walked past (honest!) a well known gay pub, and because there was some work being done to the door that day there was a sign up saying, I kid ye not, "Please use rear entrance."

  9. Have to say it was a very convivial night! So interesting to see the faces behind the forum-names, the Philomena was a good venue (and easy to get to and find), they had several screens (and recievers) which meant no probs getting ICT on, and they were very helpful...we even got table service! Seem to remember watching a bit of the game! (Felt we gave Aberdeen a good game...but my usual comments re: needing another forward to help Billy out still apply) Looking forward to the next one! One day hope to see the place rocking with ICT fans...perhaps 12th Man we will get a flag to hang there when 'in residence' (and a small shout out to my other team for confirming their presence in the EPL for next season)

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
