  1. ICT don't charge for the school visits....they are also extending the programme to cover approx 180 schools over the next 12 months. To add a bit of context to that.....Scotland has a total of just over 2000 primary schools. Not only will we be covering the largest geographic region, I believe they will be visiting more schools than ANY other club in the UK.

  2. I have some very good news for all those kind hearted people who donated to the Cup Final Surfer Flags. You all bought into a vision and collectively we created our very first ICT giant flags for the club. 1st ones in 20 years I have wanted to announce this for quite a few weeks but 1st wanted to make sure the head count was correct and also wanted to remind those who said they would donate, to actually donate, without telling them of the outcome Being a community club and a proactive club, the chairman and I wanted to reward those who gave but did not expect anything in return. For the individuals who donated towards the flags there are various prizes on offer to be drawn at a later date. The prizes are as follows. 1st prize A signed shirt from our very first cup final. equal 2nd and 3rd is a pennant and a signed photo from the glorious great escape semi final, containing 5 players looking pleased with themselves. 4th prize is a poster of the fans which has been signed by the players. On top of that. Its been a great season and to pass on that feel good factor, every single person who donated towards the flags will each receive a miniature flag of their choice and I more or less know which flags to order due to the private poll carried out over the past few weeks. These have yet to be ordered so we are probably a few weeks away from getting any sent out. Special Thanks to. The fan who contacted me regarding the supplier. Don for Designing the flags. Peter our safety officer for advice at the design stages. Our Chairman Kenny Cameron, for listening to a fan with an idea, for the continual support, the prizes, collecting the money and also contributing to the flags. CJT for their collections, contributions and for offering help to get the flags out on display. Caleythistleonline for the paypal links and the publicity. All the sponsors. The club and players. And lastly the nuts and bolts of the club, You. Whether you contributed or not, they are Your Flags and represent you and your club. If you are a bit miffed that you have missed out on the above, there are also some cracking prizes that the club have made available to the 1st 1000 season ticket holders and the early bird season ticket prices finish tomorrow, 6th June, so if you get your skates on, not only do you get money off your season ticket you might win something too. :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: :ictscarf: The 12th Man.

  3. To be fair Dougal you are probably the best person to compare the home match day experience for both clubs.

  4. Can we bring that red and green dot system from before? It was way better than this namby pamby "Like" system!

  5. People need to ask themselves why County are doing these types of things. Maybe it's because they feel under pressure from the successes of a rival Highland side, who are bettering them where it really matters - on the pitch and in the bank.

  6. Regarding the free-ish shirts Ross County are 'giving away' Youngsters have to pay £25 to watch the games and get a free shirt. There is an advertising slogan for fresh natural white fish called 'Simply Cod' (which contains 54% fish) If we had an advertising slogan for our youngsters to get it to the matches it would be called 'Simply Free' (100% free entry) No catches no gimmicks, under 12s go free. For the rest of us the early bird prices finish tomorrow.

  8. I do however think his idea re free (ish) shirts for youngsters is super and could be copied at little cost. The advertising walking down high street would offer a potential return AND be more pleasing on the eye than the ugly sisters ones. The fact that some children are wearing them will, in my opinion, activate the purchase for other pals to receive them as birthday or Christmas pressies. This could then lead on to pressure on parents to take little Rupert (that sounds a very Sneck name nowadays - it was in the past ..... Dan!) to see the team playing.

  11. Ross County accounts for year ending June 2013 (most recent available) show that they lost around £3 Million for season 2012/13....and increased the clubs debts as a result. Don't believe everything (anything) you read in the press. Ross County are far from "living within their means" and Roy MacGregor is not paying for everything.....they are racking up debt hand over fist and it is only sustainable so long as they have someone who's willing to put their name against it. He could walk away tomorrow and leave the club with massive debts and little or no means by which to pay them. Look at Gretna, Livingston (twice), Hearts, Rangers, Dundee (twice), Dunfermline, Clydebank, Morton, Airdrie....all clubs who paid the price for putting blind faith in Owners/Chairman who all tried to gain/maintain success doing the exact same thing. I have zero desire to see ICTFC operating in a manner akin to anything that Ross County are doing.

  12. We simply don't have a club or a chairman that goes in for self aggrandisement. Other than that we at least equal and often exceed the on and off the field activities of our neighbours.

  13. Go on, furnish us with a list of the things where we're lagging behind RC.....I'd far rather pull apart those points one by one than make a general "you're talking out your hat" comment.

  14. In what way do we lag behind them in either of these areas? Don't see it myself. The ladies loos in the away end at GES don't even flush for goodness sake! A lot of their fans would much rather money spent on the team instead of vanity projects such as the media centre etc Oh and they are the only club in the premiership with no official presence on social media.

  15. I sent you a pm explaining why that would be infringing copyright laws Mckay is looking good when he gets the ball although there are usually 2 defenders on him straight away and in typical south american style they are all over him when a corner/cross comes in...... but it is good experience for the lad!

    • Aaron Doran - Club Legend
Shameful: Thanks to Shane Sutherland, the generosity of friends, fans, former colleagues and opponents, Aaron has now had his operation. However it has emerged that he had posted on Instagram regarding his sad dismissal and treatment from the Board of Inverness CT who have treated Aaron in a similar way to which they have been treating the fans. Let's not forget that Aaron was due to have a testimonial for his service to the club.

    • Administration pending unless...
Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
