  1. Did we go on a lengthy unbeaten run after a 1-5 (or was it 0-5) home defeat against Motherwell not so very long ago? We'll do the same now and be unbeaten for the rest of the season....including the cup. Those ICT players and manager will be hurting right now. Someone is in for a thrashing...starting in Perth. In any league we will get 'freak' results that go completely against the form book. Its football, it happens and when it does we dust ourselves down, take it on the chin and wipe the bayonets and charge again. It why we love the game.
  2. A late entrant into biggest CTO meltdown of 2014 but you've made a strong bid for the title.
  3. I'm sorry I mentioned it !
  4. To my mind the actions of the young lads is of far less concern than the unbelievable lack of action of the stewards. Had somebody come on the pitch and intended harm to one of the players they would have had all the time in the world. If this is the level of response the stewards provide when someone enters the field of play, the club should be demanding money back from the stewarding company because they are clearly not doing what they are paid to do.
  5. No Jock, you need to mention more
  6. We are all a bit like Thomas the tank engine at the moment - a little tender! Hopefully we'll be a little less next week.
  7. We still have been passing back to Brill a fair few times even when playing well. I don't think its as big as an issue as it was last season IMO.
  8. Total overreaction to the 2 boys on the pitch. Yes it was totally unacceptable and some sort of punishment is needed but ban them for life?? Slightly over the top, even some convicted hooligans aren't banned for life. The game. To be fair it was a fairly even 1st half, Partick took their chances and we didn't. The second half however the players should be embarrassed with themselves. After the 4th goal they just gave up and some of them didn't look like they were trying. It could have been a lot more than 4. Hopefully just a blip and we don't get bogged down at this time of year for the 3rd season in a row.

watch the interview with Yogi .... he is not hiding, he is not making excuses. He quite rightly gives credit to the opposition for being better than us on the day and also talks about our own failings and where he himself may be wrong in being too loyal to the starting 11. He talks a lot of sense in this interview. And for those that see a pattern with what happened at previous clubs ... no shit sherlock !! a football match has only 3 possible results so of course there will be similar days and that applies to all of our managers. Its how you learn from those days that matters.
  10. Can we please stop labelling anyone who disagrees with our point of view, whatever that may be? It's disingenuous and carping. Saturday was a bad day, nothing more. The reason that Saturday happened was that the majority of our players didn't play to their potential, and that will undoubtably happen occasionally over the course of a season with a small squad. Partick did play a game that was designed to disrupt us, and if you listened to the manager's post match comments you might realise that was something he was expressly intending to address.
  11. You couldn't make it up. You have to laugh but unfortunately the comedy of it all hides a real sickness at the club that tarnishes Scottish football. The club don't want him, he doesn't want to be at the club but they are paying him £3/4million for 12 months to do a job he is sh*te at. There are far better managers at far better clubs getting paid far less than him. Most clubs are desperately short of funds and yet so much of the money that comes into the Scottish game ends up being drained away in the Ibrox cesspit.
  12. It's tactics! Thought we would tease the Dons and D U and let them think they could catch us. As for the high and mighty Silts, well, they were given a little gap to lull them into a sense of security. After all it is Christmas so we can afford be charitable on this occasion.
  13. Im sorry but talk about an over reaction! This is our first home defeat this season and its a tad optomistic that we wont ever get beat ever! We are still second in the league and to push the panic button already is a tad premature imho. Bad days happen. Theyve happened under previous management and Im sure they will continue to happen occasionally. Seems some of us have seriously become big time Charlies. Sorry if this is not what the op meant or intended to portray but all teams in this league are beatable or capable of beating each other including Celtic and Partick Thistle.
  14. It was a stupid thing for them to do and I'm sure they'll be punished as they should be. Why on earth would you be getting abuse about it? Also why would you not go back if ICT don't make a statement? I'd be surprised if they did, probably want to give them as little attention as possible. Overreaction imo.

This happened to his team when he was in change at Hibs. Enough of this rubbish already.
  16. Please tell me its on a caravan?
