  1. I would hope that the chance to play two legs against West Ham is the best incentive ever following the home defeat. I know that the prospect has excited me and that it will boost the atmosphere at the game to the ceiling. We could have got a nightmare draw and I do not suspect that many would have travelled away if it had been across the seas. The Hammers tie could be an early season financial reward and what a pre season test. So let's hope that the players put in that extra mile this week. I know that they will do us proud anyway but I am praying for one of the best post match ICT celebrations ever in a Bucharest night club and hopefully on to the big smoke. judging from the descriptions of Giurgiu it could be a case of Out of the Big Choke and on to the Big Smoke. anyway I have now firmly got Giurgiu on ma mind.
  2. Need to take the game to them. Don't really have any other option. For me - Esson Raven Warren Meekings Williams Draper Tansey Doran Christie Roberts Foran Subs - Fon Williams, Devine, Lopez, Wedderburn, Polworth, Horner, Tremarco* *If Tremarco is injured, bring Brown into the squad.

FFS don't send him to Elgin or Aberdeen !
  5. Great draw for us and a massive incentive to get through to the next round. Interesting draw for Aberdeen as well. After their superb win in Croatia they must be favourites to progress to the next round where they would face another trip to Eastern Europe, but a very winnable tie. A win in Q3 would take them just one game away from the group stages and that must be quite a realistic prospect for them now. Should Aberdeen get to the group stages that would be really good for the Scottish game (plus it would probably provide a distraction from league business) so let's wish them well in their European venture.
  6. Today's game at Wick has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch at Harmsworth Park. Source: Wick's website and Twitter account.
  7. Any chance of an Inverness v London World Cup qualifier t-shirt?
  8. Last nights game was like our games against Aberdeen where they are sh1te and win the game 1 nil!
  9. Sorry both, our first 'European' game was against Nykobing Falster Alliancen and we lost 2-1. We did win at FC Nordsjaelland 0-1 and Morten Wieghorst was their coach at the time. I know, because I was there along with a few others. (mee, alex macleod, Jemes Rendal, Zogg, Mrs tm4tj). First goal was scored by Liam Fox at NFA after we were 2-0 down. Great week that was.
  10. no worries mate I was under the impression that they did too but my St Mirren colleague at work has told me that they don't. He he also warned me about Carbrini's sizing issues and how the tops are tiny so be aware when ordering Feck me - what size should I ask fer ? I think it's called 'darts player'
  11. Nae much further here mate ! Few shandies in the "H & F" beforehand and away we go

Saw more of Brian Rice tonight on the touchline than Russell ever did!
  13. The fact of the matter is, we've now got the same kit supplier as Ross County, yet they've managed to negotiate a deal whereby they sell their kits through JD Sports and their own club shop. To me that suggests they've managed to negotiate a better deal than we have. Simply, that's not good enough. I've no problem with the kits being sold at JD, but to not sell your own kit at your shop is simply madness. You're highest grossing piece of merchandise won't be sold at your own club. I just can't get my head around that.
  14. I once saw us win a game of football. If we can do it then, we can do it now!
  15. A football club survives as a unit and at ICT individuals come and go - let's hope we can keep replacing them and pisss off most of the bestards that go and fail.
  16. I've bought my first ever season ticket for next season, Section E. (I have a vague recollection of getting a half season ticket for Christmas from my parents maybe 10-11 years ago but not sure!) Doubt I will be able to go to all the games, especially as I don't live in Inverness, but I was inspired by the cup win and figured I would be giving money to the club anyway, so all good.
  17. that would be 2 rounds in a row that we played the caravan dwellers. makes next thursday even more important.
