Storey also provides width, but the problem then is that there is no one in the middle to benefit. I wouldn't mind seeing Storey & Sho-Silva both start up front and hopefully provide width and a target for each other.

Well the one thing that I thought that would be noted and commented on would be the proliferation of "legends" from both sides. I would have initially highlighted the appearances of Charlie Christie, Mike Andrews, Brian Black, Davie Milroy dressed up as Fools whilst the appearances of Brian McLair. Danny McGrain, Peter Grant and Tommy Burns would have singled this game out from most. All of them together must have been against the odds ?

Our traffic has actually stayed reasonably constant although the level of posting does sometimes wane. My own take is that I believe forums still have their place, and they always will, but social media and facebook are far more instant a medium and may be more appealing to some users (especially younger ones). I cant see the main social media sites fading anytime soon so even the developers of this forum software are constantly looking for ways to enhance the product and make it as easy to use and as 'social' as possible. Where forums do have an advantage I think is that they typically tend to be niche markets or 'cliques' that require (mostly free) membership. All of us here have at least one common interest (ICT) and probably several more (Inverness, football, local history, films etc) that we can discuss freely and whilst we do have arguments and have to click the ban hammer once in a while, for the most part its a somewhat civilised and safe environment. There is also the fact that being a smaller niche community there is a good chance you will get loads of opportunity to put faces to screen names and see a real person that you might not when posting on facebook or twitter. How many of you went to Romania earlier this year and introduced yourself to people with "I am <nickname> on CTO" . I myself am a member of two other boards i frequent regularly, one for Toronto FC, and one for the car I now drive and as a normal member rather than moderator or administrator its just the same ... I get introduced to folk all the time as their screen names and we collectively all have this little niche bubble we are part of .... After 20+ years of running this forum (so far) all I can say is 'Good Luck'. Its a lot of fun most of the time but also a massive pain in the arse at others !

Oh goodness me! In the presence of that combined cerebral powerhouse which is dougiedanger and Dougal, I couldn't possibly comment. And in any case, not having any inclination to join that intrepid band which seems to spend its waking hours hanging about outside Celtic Park, what on earth makes anyone think I should be remotely interested in the identities of a Celtic team of around 30 years ago? But if DD and Dougal feel that they would be perceived as better individuals by the world on the strength of naming the entire group - or that society would benefit from such a feat - I would never want to stand in their way.

That was frustrating. The first two Celtic goals were down to poor defending - McGregor was allowed to run for too long, and the cross for the second should have closed down. Would need to see the third again as it was impossible to tell from the other end of the ground what had happened. Positives were that we created some decent chances, and I thought we started the second half well - Draper should have done better with the free header he had. Negatives were that we showed Celtic too much respect, we are still trying to play too much football in our own defensive third, and too many times players turned back rather than going forwards and found themselves closed down and having to play a rushed pass towards our own goal. There still isn't enough movement ahead of the ball, and Storey ends up wide with no one in the middle too often. As has been said elsewhere on this thread, the disappointing thing is that this Celtic team aren't very good, but too many teams show them too much respect. As for Collum, can't comment on the third goal yet, but while he didn't make any other controversial decisions, every marginal decision went Celtic's way. Nothing you could take much issue with on their own, but when taken as a whole showed him up for what he is.
