Not much between the teams tonight. Dundee were less sloppy with passing but that was about it. A game entirely dictated by a referee. There were calls for a penalty on Doran but I'll wait until I see it again as I'm not sure if he dragged his feet but from where I was sitting it looked rather convincing. Dundee's number 8 targeting Vigurs as well resulting in Vigurs lashing out, nothing new. Atrocious refereeing in the first half that gradually got a bit better during the second half but not by much. I can't believe that I'm going to say this but I miss the Willie Collum days. The game completely changed when McKay came on and we looked better team by far. The entire team came alive when that change was made and the change should have been made just after half time. Correction: Doran, not Bell.

A clever move by Robbo to increase our transfer budget IMO.

Yeah ill come through tonight then . Any news on team availabilty. I have heard jr is starting with ten players and will get 11th on pitch at halftime to show the guys how much easier it is in the second half. So who would you leave off the pitch in the first half. ?

According to BBC stats, not one shot on target from ICT until Daniel McKay came on and brought out a save from their keeper. Surely now he should be given a start on Saturday.

I wonder if Mulraney is away too? He didn't seem at all interested tonight.

To be honest it was a wee bit extra money and some more game time for Doran and McKay. I think we should start using him over Baird from now on.

There will be a pitch inspection at midday tomorrow (Tuesday) ahead of our William Hill Scottish Cup replay versus Dundee at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. The game has passed it's midday pitch inspection and will go ahead as scheduled.

Its an indication of how poor the Championship sides are this season in terms of quality. Previously we have seen Hearts, Sevco & Hibs storm the league - even some of these clubs convincingly beater in the play-offs, suggesting the gap to the Premiership is bigger than some like to admit. This season St Mirren look to be the strongest team yet were easily demolished by Aberdeen in the cup and when you consider ourselves & Falkirk as 2 teams who have really been dire this year are still contenders for the play-offs, it raises questions of the quality. Everyone is taking points of each other and as the above shows. Its hard to make a case of any team other than the league champions to get into the premiership next season - even a play-off final I'd consider County, Partick, Hamilton all stronger teams by a fair margin.

What people are saying is that it was utter stupidity for a guy on a yellow card, who then gave away another foul and was clearly on his last warning, to then aim two kicks at an opposition player for no reason whatsoever. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. It cost us the game on Saturday and at a time when our squad is already paper thin another suspension is something we could do without.

Agree 100% I see he got on as sub after only 6 minutes today. Playing in front of over 8000. Not bad for 5th tier of English football. We'd like even half that at our home games.

Absolutely. Never convinced about the argument that being knocked out of the cup is a blessing in disguise allowing a club to concentrate on the league. Scottish Cup quarter final and a play off place would represent a fine recovery from our disastrous start to the season and would bode very well for next season.
