  1. Charles, I've been in touch with supporters direct today to see if we can move this forward. hope to post something as soon as possible. this is a situation that now needs to be sorted.
  2. One thing the club board could perhaps do is to establish exactly what the situation is with regard to CJT and make a public statement of the outcome principally, as Glover says, for the benefit of the fans whose body this is meant to be. If whoever were previously involved in CJT are unable to respond to the likes of queries by posters on this forum, then I would suggest that it falls to the club board to achieve clarity - better still, progress - in respect of 10% of the Company's voting rights.
  3. Why not? Multiple world champion, multiple world record holder and will still be at her peak. Don't recall Paula Radcliffe, Colin Jackson, Steve Cram etc. getting this much grief when they failed to win Olympic Gold despite being world champion, world record holder.......
  4. Totally agree. You think the club would be wanting to drum up as much support for the game as early as possible.
  5. Quite unbelievable that there has been no announcement from the club now that the venue and KO time has been confirmed i read it on twitter at 4pm by Tyronne Smith Do they want any fans there??
  6. As such Charles, CJT is of great importance to ICT fans all over who know how important 2018/2019 could be in terms of funds and the club’s decision making on that from the summer. Two months since we were told to wait, two months without any subsequent communication, three weeks been and gone for the EGM date. Could we please have a reply to what Supporters Direct have said? Have all the people that didn’t take up the offer now been personally contacted for membership renewal and have the CJT board met?
  7. The players do have to take some of the blame, Mackay knew he was on a booking, although I thought the first one wasn't, so he must know if he pushes a player out of the way he will pick up a second. Saying that, on a number of occasions, Crusader players went unpunished for the same offence, which has happened on numerous occasions this season. All we are looking for is consistency from the officials. I have been at games this season when we have had several players booked and not one for our opponents. ICT are not a dirty physical team, but this season looks like turning out to be one of the worst for red cards.
  8. Nice to see Polly getting the plaudits. He is also in the SPFL Team of the Week.
  9. She's now saying she'll be back for Beijing in 2022. PLEASE!!...... DON'T!!!!
  10. Cup Final bus 24th March leaving Caley Club 12.15, Stadium 12.30. Book via Facebook or on 07462218717
  11. Confirmed as McDairmid Park, Saturday 24th March, 4:15pm kick off.
  12. That seems like the logical place, which probably rules it out immediately
  13. It's nothing to do with the SFA. It's an SPFL tournament. It was invented as part of the centennial celebrations of the SFL to give lower division teams another trophy they could realistically hope to win. The revamp to include non Scottish teams was probably a good idea to regenerate interest, the decision to not join up the schedule with the schedule of the other domestic leagues was definitely not a good idea. Sadly, as soon as tv become involved, kick off times become bizarre, and people would rather watch the game in a warm, dry room with a beer, rather than a cold, wet, windy stadium that has probably run out of hot water before half time. Unforgivably, the people that run Scottish football are too willing to sell TV rights (and so give up control of fixture times) for a price that feels way too generous.
  14. Buses for next few away games Dumbarton 27/2 Caley Club 2.30 Stadium 2.45 Dunfermline 6/3 Caley Club 3.15 Stadium 3.30 Livingston 10/3 Caley Club 9.45 Stadium 10.00 Dundee Utd 17/3 Caley Club 10.30 Stadium 10.45 book through Facebook or on 07462218717
  15. Following on from the perverse logic of the SPFL. they should play the game at Crawley Town FC...just 15mins from Gatwick Airport, and thats just an hour and a half from Inverness, would be one of the quicker away trips Just £42 return at the mo on Easyjet
  16. This is what you get when you have the disastrous SFA in charge. They invented this tournament, for what purpose I'm not quite sure. Who is benefiting from it? They don't promote it, they certainly don't care about the supporters or the clubs. Is it from TV money? There must be some reason they have for agreeing to play it on a sunday at stupid o'clock. The late great Jock Stein was said 'football without supporters is nothing', and he is right. The atmosphere at the stadium on Sunday was terrible, and only came alive when the handbags came out at the end of the game. I think we all know that the crowd would have been bigger had it not been on TV, but you can bet your bottom dollar that some of the '15,000 fans to Hampden', "the glory hunters", will be searching in their cupboards for their ICT scarfs and hats for the final, and then never seen again at the stadium.
  17. By the way, if we are sending Brad off for what he did, Burns should have been off for a much more aggressive shove on Oakley late in the game. Anyway, what a bunch of greetin faced gits we have become.
  18. I thought Vigurs was excellent, especially in the first half. They were always going to up energy levels after the break. Whyte is top scorer in Ireland with 18 goals, Heatley has 15ish now I think and Murray is around 12. They are no mugs and will probably end up as NI Premiership Champions this season. I thought Polly was top player, Vigurs next then Ridgers with Jake close as well. Haha, penalty was a shocker.
  19. Grass doesn't grow unless the temperature is consistently above 5 degrees which is why ALL grass pitches are a mess this time of year. I always admired the condition of the pitch at ICT, the groundstaff do an excellent job.
  20. Cut the groundstaff a bit of slack. Hard to prep/fix a pitch when the board won't (can't?) give them funds to hire in the equipment or get the supplies needed. They spend an hour at home on their ride ons a couple of times a year and think they know better. Shambles.
  21. 1 point
There was a very long delay before he could take it, but he should have at least hit the target. The way Polly was fired and riled up, perhaps he should have taken it? Atkeast that would have stopped him getting his booking....
  22. I doubt that we train three hours a week but at the same time there is a big danger in over-training. I was reading an article about the new Leeds manager, Paul Heckingbottom. As part of his team he has performance analysts who try to tailor training sessions to the players levels - you can't play for 40+ games at your best level if you just train the same all the time and don't manage your recovery. Barnsley, where Heckingbottom had success, came from miles behind to get promoted from League One a few years back with a late season push. Here's the article actually - http://www.trainingground.guru/articles/why-nathan-winder-will-be-key-at-leeds-united
  23. Jeez. I thought he was awful.
