  1. Ding dong the witch is dead! (the witch is dead!!) Close the door on your way out and don’t come back! Woohoo! *dances on grave* *High fives Scarlett Pimple*
  2. Well, today's tremendous victory at the Grange against the number one ODI side in the world goes a long way to making up for missing out on the World Cup and also shows how short sighted and narrow the ICC are being in excluding so many promising associate nations from their premier one day tournament.
  3. Theme tune to the club's most successful era. If it was up to me we'd have had....
  4. His overseas experience didn't amount to much. He got fairly little match time whilst he was there, and even that was mostly as sub. Although I quite liked Nick, I can't see him improving our sqaud greatly.
  5. You know, I've taken half an hour to reflect - by no means for the first time in recent months, but today through the medium of this individual thread - on where CTO seems to be going, in particular since relegation. The unfortunate conclusion is that it simply isn't the same vibrant and constructive medium that it was when I first joined in the early 2000s, and in particular the feeling that everybody was in this journey together seems to have gone. This isn't a sudden observation on my part, but more a "next step" in an ongoing process. Consequently, and this is a conclusion come to at considerable length, not just this morning, I think I'm going to give contributing to CTO a miss from now on. Quite frankly, it's lost its allure for me and I'm sure I can find some other means of engaging with ICTFC.
  6. But you claim on another thread that the players are well paid? You can't have it both ways? ?
  7. It didn't come remotely close to smouldering.
  8. I genuinely liked Mutumbo when he was here also, but "Class act" might be over exaggerating his ability somewhat,
  9. I have to agree with whats been said so far. We have a strong team we now seem to have two goal scorers in Austin and Oakley. If Vigurs goes he goes with my gratitude as he became the nucleus of the team and yes he got sent off a few times but to me that showed his fight and determination and he is at the twilight of his career so will need to think of his and his families future. If he goes he will be replaced and we have cover in the squad as it stands plus we have the summer to recruit. I'm genuinely happy with our current on field squad and with a couple of additions we will have a strong team a complete difference from this time last year where we had nothing. A good start to the season is key this time around and we have a settled team who can achieve that and hopefully win more games. Whatever way you look at it we are in a much more positive and stronger situation than 12 months ago.
  10. Thankfully, John Robertson seems very much to be looking forwards rather than backwards.
  11. As far as Tansey is concerned, he would, without doubt, improve the squad. However, the bottom line is that we can't afford him and we are, in any event, much better looking to recruit young players with potential right now.
  12. He was not the same player once the sheep started sniffing around and has done nothing since so I would not be wanting him back.
  13. He's only 24 Hartley can't rate him think he'd be a cracking addition to our defence Hartley made the error of releasing Nathan Austin who's no slouch
  14. Don't know if Grant is past his best now if Falkirk are releasing him. He was certainly a thorn in our side in our famous cup final victory.
