  1. Hes under contract. He can sit it out. Maybe hes not bad the right offer? Who knows? I hate the way all this is being conducted in public esp to a real good guy
  2. Well that's been over 3 wks now and there's no indication he is away. If we are trying to free up funds for other players, we are in danger of missing out on targets - at what point do the club decide that they have to backtrack and look to make plans with GW at the club? Or do we go right up to the start of the season hoping he leaves then throw the cash at whatever targets are milling around looking for a club? Lets hope that not leaving isn't held against him by the management and some fans like it has been for OFW.
  3. why on earth close a thread on our long serving loyal captain without warning to those posters going off topic?
  4. And often the chance of balanced debate as well.
  5. Problem is that there's too many who don't know the difference between criticism and being abusive. Not a CTO problem only, it's a product of the anonymous/faceless nature of social media which removes the accountability.
  6. Must say I like the mid three of Polworth Trafford and Doran with Rooney and Tremarco wide.
  7. Yeah, can't have a thread which might aim criticism at the club, manager or board .................or after crap performances any players. Seems this forum is only wanting to welcome fake, positive happy posts and anything that prompts questioning or contrary opinion get frowned upon?
  8. As long as it's not interesting in the way that last season's start to the season was ?
  9. Good luck to the new board. I look forward to hearing of the progress made and more importantly to hearing that they are all committed to working together to promote the interests of all supporters of our club. I also look forward to hearing that the three late nominations - subject to being deemed valid - are co-opted onto the board at the next meeting. The more the merrier. I also re-iterate CTO's offer to help in any way we can .... At least 5 of those 6 are or have been active members of the site so just holler .....
  10. He clearly doesn't want Warren to stay and is raging.
  11. Robbo doesn't see big Warren as a starter next season and thinks he could use the money saved to strengthen other areas of the team simple as that!
  12. Its quite simple for me , Gary Warren has a contract for another year, the club feel they could use the money more wisely and invest in some other player but finances are tight. If He can find another club we will surely give him a payoff to go and the player could get a club that wants him to play rather than sit on the bench with ourselves. It happens all the time and most times it’s just down to finances. I don’t think the club is doing anything wrong at all here.
  13. Maybe not Storey, but I'd have Fisher back in a heartbeat! Not in any way likely, though... We aren't too bad up front...can see an Austin/Oakley front 2 being productive next season..add in a bit more game time for Daniel Mackay as well...
  14. I wish somebody would start going off topic with this thread. How’s everyone enjoying the close season, pissh eh?
