  1. This is just a very quick note to say that the new board of Caley Jags Together met for the first time last night (Tuesday) to appoint office bearers and take care of one or two bits of immediate business. Office Bearers are as follows.... Chairman : Don Johnstone (CaleyD) Vice Chairman : Peter Mutton (Doofers Dad) Secretary : Jen Aitchison (Jenaitchie) Treasurer : Kath Fraser (Ladyf) Other board members... Laura Grant (L_G) Ewan MacRae (Glover) Stewart Murdoch (MainStandJaggy) The following persons have accepted co-opted positions on the board... Lynne Macdonald (Old Caley Girl) Jen Aitchison (Jenaitchie) One of the items towards the top of our agenda is improved communication and we are looking at how best we do that in terms of website, social media (including CaleyThistleOnline.com), email, snail mail (where necessary) etc. If anyone has any questions or queries in the interim, please feel free to drop us an email : [email protected] or reply below. If you are speaking to any other fans/members who feel they should be receiving communications from Caley Jags Together, but are not, then please pass them the email address above and ask that they get in touch so we can check the contact details we have on record. As an organisation, Caley Jags Together has it's work cut out to regain the confidence of it's members and the wider ICTFC Community. The first steps have been taken to point things back in the right direction and we will be working hard in the coming months so that we can present a very different picture at our AGM which will be held towards the end of 2018. We will be sending out a communication with more detailed information on your new board, membership renewals and dates for the AGM in the next couple of weeks.
  2. To be honest, I can't see the players being too happy about it either. What footballer would not want to watch the World Cup Semi-final? In any case, we have 2 matches scheduled the day before so presumably all the squad will be heavily involved in one of those two. So I'm not sure what benefit this game would be to us so soon before the Cove game just 3 days later. Seems like a really bad idea all round to me .
  3. Hi Robert, there's a quick update over on this thread... we'll have information on membership (renewals and new sign ups) and other things available just as soon as we can ?
  4. Surprisingly cheap, too cheap in fact. I’d have thought £10 would have been a better balance of maximising income whilst attracting a decent crowd (bearing in mind the large travelling support and the number of local Dons fans).
  5. Clever move by McInnes, arrange a friendly to weigh up which ICT players to sign next.
  6. Why would Ryan want to sign Robbo?
  7. Davie has now completed his bike ride. Well done
  8. Fer fecks sake - Pre season friendlies are glorified training sessions. When we went to Yeovil, Bristol and Aldershot the games were mince. The atmosphere off the pitch fer the away support was brilliant. And the Betfred Cup has well and truly fecked that up. Those pre-season games of olde sucked up the finances and did feck all for the start of the REAL season.
