  1. No. It's a fruit and veg stall. He still has some bad apples to offload.

Team against St J tonight: Mackinnon, Hastings, Fyffe, Nicholson, Harper, Hyde, Brown, Gunn, MacGregor, Mackay, Kennedy. Subs: Harkness, Innes, Gamble, Russell Jack Brown puts caley 1-0 up HT 1-0 Caley however Mackinnon has gone off injured and with no sub goalie available Gabriel Hastings (son of Richard) has had to go in goals for the second half. Good start to the second half, 2-0 up now Daniel Mackay FT 2-0 back to winning ways for the U18s and lasting 45 minutes without a proper keeper aswell, looking forward to seeing Jack brown being given a chance in the first team, a very good talent and could go far if given the chance.
  3. Well I am being serious - I can evidently see that communications between the fans and the Board are sadly lacking. I am baffled and fed up of some repetitive (and often derogatory) posts that pop up on most threads these days. I do however also understand and agree with some. SO I will give it a go. IF you have a personal beef, an example or observation to support it - or a question - or a suggestion - then bang it down. In about a week I will put them all together and make a presentation to the Board.
  4. You've not allowed for the time difference...it was about 5 hours after.
  5. Can the club set up a parking strategy whereby one gate goes to the town and the other gate goes to the A9?
  6. It’s interesting to look at the situation in Wales. The big two there play in the English set up and so too do some smaller teams. This means the teams who compete in the Welsh league have a chance of European football and of winning a national championship which they otherwise would not have had. But as the Irn Bru cup has shown, the top sides in that league are at Scottish Championship level at best. Their crowds are dismal. Merthyr who play in English level 7 probably get bigger crowds than most of the Welsh level 1 sides. So whilst I don’t think that having 2 sides dominating a league is healthy, I don’t think allowing top teams to play in England would be healthy for the game in Scotland either. With more money in the game and with improved transport networks, I personally feel that the best way forward would be to have a British league with regionalisation at perhaps the 3rd and 4th tiers which might allow several Scottish teams to play against teams from the Northern half of England. Below that the tiers would be more local so a fifth tier would have a Scottish only division. This would bring Scottish clubs into the mix for the big TV money and give fans the opportunity of seeing a wide variety of other British teams. Promotion through the tiers would give all clubs the potential to experience the broader dimension I am sure this would be good for the game in Scotland, but the reality is that it will never happen for a variety of reasons related to vested interests and politics
  7. I don’t really care that much that the board haven’t been saying much. Even when they did release statements the fans still moaned about it. The only thing I would prefere to improve in the immediate future is current day to day news within the first team squad and unders. I would like to know how current injured players are getting on etc and when they will be back ready to play. I would quite like us to do some player interviews as well, asking different questions and maybe make them more light hearted than the usual stuff which is just run of the mill answers. Something along the lines of the open goal stuff.
  8. Cannot believe some of the pathetic and childish comments made by some posters on this. IHE (good on you Johndo) has taken the time and effort to try and get some improvements yet some posters still take the ****. Fraz has listed some good points as have other more sensible posters. For myself, better communication between the board and fans where they can see legitimate issues raised and discussed or resolved would be helpful although supporters have to be realistic about what can be achieved by this.
  9. Why hasn't communication improved between the fans and the board? Why is the local press being used as our medium of communication instead of club social media which has previously been applauded? A list of objectives was given at the begining of last season, how do the board feel they are lining up against these objectives and what is being done to improve the clubs standing in the comunity? Why was the recent community day sponsored so poorly publicised by the club with short notice? Why did we not send any boardroom representation to our pre-season friendly against Keith?
  10. LOL - Just as expected - some easily answered if posed questions so far but unfortunately most people these days on this forum prefer to whinge, moan and avoid any counter argument to their tunnel-visioned perspectives. ?
  11. Why are we second in the league when all the fans have been moaning and saying we are terrible?
  12. 1 point
Under 18s sound well decent must go to a game sometime
  13. All other clubs seem to be sharing the national fans survey but not ICT. I think that says volumes about their thoughts on where fans fit. ICT only want two things from us our money and our silence.
  14. Any truth in the rumour Richie Forans setting up a food stall selling stovies?
