Ryan is scheduled to go for surgery today to address the horrible facial injuries suffered in the other semi-final. On behalf of CTO (and myself) I just want to wish him all the best for a speedy recovery and to hope that Charlie and the rest of his family are not too stressed out. Its never easy to see relatives in medical distress, especially your children !
  2. ..and let's hope that we will be facing both in the league next season.
  3. That's an impressive level of pessimism even for this site !

Winning 4 out of 5 after the split put a gloss on things? faint praise indeed. Do you recall the injury list we had that year? and as I said in an earlier post how do you replace Watkins, Shinnie and Christie within our budget restraints? you can't, no wonder things slipped, players are hardly falling over themselves to join ICT so we sign injury prone players like Dargo or last chancers, players with a bad attitude to training, referees, lifestyle, authority or an old head like Scott McDonald going to Thistle who still thinks he has something to offer and probably has at our level. We are a million miles away from the level of Pele's teams but then the level of Scottish football since those days has also dropped dramatically we are the backwater of Europe in footballing terms.
  5. Week in week out, playing on a plastic pitch, probably would not suit Aaron.
  6. Hamilton were trying to get Polworth as well.
  7. My favourite player and wish you the best.
  8. Well said, out of interest we will have to sponsor someone else next season now. If it goes to a poll I would vote for Mark Ridgers, a local lad who hopefully will be with us for a long time
  9. good luck to the player we have sponsored on this site since he was just a squad player making up the numbers :).
  10. We've lost players in the past and will again in the future. Let's concentrate on the play offs and see where that takes us.
  11. And that's it confirmed. Polly is off to Motherwell on a pre contract. Good luck to him after his 8 year stint with us!
  12. Whether he stays or whether he goes he has been a great and loyal servant to the club. The boo boys may be pleased but they will be very much in the minority and if he does go our team will be the poorer for it whichever division we are playing in.

He didn't need replaced. What he needed was people above him who knew what they were doing.
  14. At least Aaron Doran kept one of his poorest games for the biggest showcase game... I think any team who might go up - County and Downdee Untied included - will need to upskill hugely. The evidence suggests this season that there's a huge gap between even the lower end of the top tier and the second tier. Look at how St Mirren have struggled.
  15. Brian Rice is Hamilton manager ... Polly is going to Motherwell.
  16. Vigurs coming in via an exchange deal for Donaldson.
  17. doesnt really matter. I still think he has made a pretty big mistake as his game still needs work.
  18. In all honesty, we could be in with a chance of bottling it. The Pars have 3 games left, against QoTS, Morton and us. We have United, Alloa and Dunfermline. It could potentially go right down to the wire, as Dunfermline have a considerably easier road to securing Play Offs. Here's hoping they screw up on Saturday.
  19. Ross County have a stack of players out of contract at 31 May 2019. I suspect Draper, who is one of them, will not be deemed good enough for the SPFL so maybe he might want to return...........if invited.
