  1. On Saturdays performance I don't think any of our team would get a shift on Bobby Linn's bin route, never mind the Arbroath team sheet!!
  2. Again, during 2019, I kept my spreadsheets of ex ICT goal scorers going (perhaps not quite as carefully as I once did!). Nevertheless, I found 74 scores achieving 450 goals amongst them. The stand out clearly is Nat Austin who scored 40 in 25 games in 5 months, for Kelty Hearts. Amazing, even at that level. Here is my list :- 40 goals N Austin (Kelty Hearts) 28 " A MacRae ( 17, Forres : 11, Brora R) 24 " S Sutherland (22, Elgin : 2, Peterhead) 22 " S Boden (19, Chesterfield : 3, Gateshead) 21 " R Christie ( 20, Celtic : 1, Scotland) 20 " S Soane ( Forres) 19 " L Doumbouya (Trat ) 15 " D Gillespie ( Brora R) 13 " G Wood ( Formantine) 12 " T Agdestein ( Aalesund), A Sutherland ( Rothes), D Ebbe ( TNS) 11 " A Rooney ( Salford), A MacAskill ( Buckie) 10 " J Baird ( 9, Forfar : 1 Raith), P Roberts ( 8, Dartford : 2 Hayes) 09 " R McAllister (Peterhead), T Sho-Silva ( 5, Halifax : 3, Margate) 08 " Z Elbouzedi ( 6, Waterford : 2, Ireland U21), B Mckay (Ross Co), G Oakley ( Hamilton), F Morais ( 5, Crawley : 3, Oldham) 06 " A MacDonald ( Brora R), H Anier ( 5, Suwon FC : 1, Estonia) 05 " C Allen ( Glentoran), B Greenhalgh ( Dartford), C Dingwall ( 4, Inverurie : 1, Formantine) D Park ( 4, Cove : 1, Formantine), A Greig ( Formantine) 04 " A Fisher ( 3, Exeter : 1, Yeovil), C Bell ( 3, Preston Lions : 1, South Shields), G Morrison ( Brora R) 03 " J Roberts ( Ipswich), I Sekajja ( 2, Gosport : 1, Maidenhead), J Chalmers ( Ross Co), M Finnis ( Clach) J Wilson ( Rothes), A Evans ( Longford ), J Oswell ( Wrexham), G Shinnie ( 2, Aberdeen : 1, Derby) 02 " N Ross ( El Paso Loco), D Proctor ( E. 3. Storey continues to run around like a headless chicken, magic hat?? Magic boots would be better, or at least one fcuking magic shoe at least.
  4. Like you I was at all six, and also sitting in the company of the Stonehaven ICT has made a few disasters a bit more palatable. The absolute moment of the decade for me is Raven’s goal. It narrowly pipped Richie Foran’s last minute overhead kick... Watching the highlights, when the ball hits the net you can hear somebody yell “yes!” Possibly Shinnie or Raven or Christie, who knows, but the hairs on the back of the neck stick up every time.
  5. If Liam came to your abode would you ever let him out?
  6. Top Six (in chronological order): Ayr 7-nil game - the outpouring of relief to be back up rather than the game itself. Hearts at Easter Road - LC semi-final - Nick Ross goal and scenes thereafter. Hampden Scottish Cup semifinal - possibly the best of them all. Hampden - 30th May 2015 Astra away - despite the result/performance. A really special event. Pics and videos still give me goosebumps. United - Scottish Cup game last season. Superb away support, great performance and genuine optimism which sadly proved unfounded. I was lucky enough to be at them all and enjoyed them all considerably more than our two recent games against Arbroath. Sadly, the great times seem to make the bad times feel even worse. Without wishing to sound like Guy Garvey I'd be happy enough with one day like these in the 2020s. Keep the faith, ymip
  7. I agree the same players robbo has said weren't up to it have had the arrogance to stall on signing new contracts with the club because they think they are better than the championship and better than ICTFC. Saturday was a reality check for them. If they can't perform for us no spl club would take a second look at them. Their performance was dire and they should be putting in performances to merit a new contract with us never mind anyone else. The players attitudes on Saturday work rate and effort wee shocking. And if I performed like that in my job I would be hauled in and put on a written warning. They are paid professionals who made a mediocre part time team look like Brazil.
  8. We might have been better watching the Happy Clappers on Saturday ?
  9. I agree but disagree with your selection. Trafford was one of the few outfield players today who got close to pass marks whilst MacGregor seemed out of his depth. We are missing Welsh and Walsh as Welsh protects the defence and Walsh has a creative spark. Storey is getting better but not sure that playing as striker is his best position. Maybe the “number 10” role would work given his pace?
