  1. It's good to be back! After a prolonged wait we've got a lovely new podcast for you all. Plenty of football chat about the last few weeks, a review of the recent signings, transfer window roundup around the division and interviews with Scott Allardice, Ryan Esson and new arrival Austin Samuels. Cor!

  3. When you look at the players out, that's a pretty big miss, Obviously Doran needs to be fully fit to influence games, MacGregor was almost as influential as Daniel Mackay last season, popping up all over the place, and Devine out leaves us shuffling the defence, Allardice being out is just massive. The plus side seems to be Pearson, with Mckay back. The fact that Samuels has a contract suggests that the Club see him as having potential, are we seeing it on the pitch. I was rather hoping that Duffy would be more worthy of being an ever-present leaving Carson to move further upfield, along with Harper showing more of the promise of last season. We are operating on a thin squad at the moment, but if Arbroath can do what they are doing, that should give us the motivation. We are still not cut adrift from automatic promotion, and Kilmarnock still not dominating the division...that said Partick with all their games in hand are a threat Hopefully the weekend break coupled to a positive comeback against Thistle will help us out of the mid-winter malaise I don't think Covid can stop me and the wife coming up for the Arbroath game in a months time, really excited about this match and have a good vibe that we can win it! But then I am the eternal optimist.

  4. Due to being under the weather, I’ve watched the last two livestreams, the only home games I’ve watched on livestream since fans were allowed back in. What a transformation from the pixellot fiasco. A good picture, very quick replays and two camera angles. I watch all our away games when I can’t get to the games and our offering is the best I’ve seen this season. The commentators enhance it too. Ross Tokely is excellent and compliments Iain Auld and Chris MacLennan very well. Credit where credit is due, but I am looking forward to being back in the ground next Saturday. It is just a pity that they didn’t switch to this last season as Davie (I think) advised us the technology was in place and working.

  5. My thoughts exactly, there has to be an end product, and to know when to release or cross the ball.

  6. Pearson was doing what I shout at Walsh to do every time he plays, stay wide, get the ball, be direct and run at defenders, get to the bye line and cross the ball. He gives us an out ball when we are going forward. The only thing he needs to work on is getting a relationship with Carson or whoever is at right back, and tracking back to help, Carson was exposed on more than one occasion last night when Tiffony's pace caught them out. Certainly a must start in the next game.

  7. Definitely agree with Pearson, not convinced by Samuels or Chalmers - yet. Lots of feints and dribbling into a tackle...shades of Storey/Mulraney??

  8. First time I've used it this season. A few freezes but might be as watching in remote area on west coast Apart from that very impressive. Ross and Auldy really professional and knowledgeable (unlike the previous commentator). Camera work really professional too. We must have gone from worst in league to the best? Pity it took so long for club to act on previous rubbish output though.

  9. Absolutely agree. After a bit of a stuttering start, we now have the best service in the division. Thank you to all involved.

  10. Maybe BD himself is by nature backroom staff, or assistant manager, material and what we need to bring in is a manager.
