  1. Maybe he was just unhappy there...let's be fair, many of the players that we have signed have not had stellar bio's Samuels for instance was described as, to paraphrase, 'fast but not much end product', but he had a pretty good end of season. Maybe in the right team, with the right coaching?

  2. Hardly headline grabbing signings, but our club does have a knack of identifying players who have not realised their potential at other clubs and then bringing them on well. Time will tell if these lads come good too.

  3. I don’t mind signing a few unknowns but if we’re serious about winning this league we need to go out and get a couple established players like we did with Bingham and Wilson in 2003. As for who that may be? I’ll leave that to Robbo again.

  4. Do we though? My feeling is that we've only had two managers who've been consistently good at this, and those were Paterson and Butcher. Others managers have, of course, found players of this nature but it feels more like it's been a numbers game with a lot of misses for each hit.

  5. Shaw is an exciting talent and will do well with us. Boyd shows off our lack of ambition. Why have we signed a striker that doesn't like to pass, doesn't have hold up play, and can't score goals? ... baffling. He will be a bench warmer at best.

  6. weeman will be having a look as well but I don't think he has worked in the jointbox on the footpath as the cover is on

  8. None of my mates have heard of Shaw. He looks like a stab in the dark. Boyd however has potential. Can I request that no sarcastic comments are made in reply as I can be very easily upset, especially by judgemental administrators
