Thank you to everyone who joined us in Bar 94 on Saturday evening for our first event. Calum really enjoyed playing his music and looks forward to returning in the future. You can see more about Calum and his music here: Calum Jones - Musician - Moray, Scotland. Bar 94 was busy all day, and the extra revenue generated will be much appreciated by the club. We are very grateful to our bar volunteers who helped to make everything happen. Your help, both on Saturday and at every match, is greatly appreciated, be that working behind the bar itself or helping with preparations and on matchdays. We could not do it without you! Thank you also to Dog Falls for the excellent products, and Stagecoach for donating the coach that took many attendees into the city after Calum finished. We were delighted that the work on the Ladies Toilets was complete to allow them to be reinstated for Saturday. A huge thank you to Centurion Plumbing and IBI Joinery for the quick turnaround. This work was funded by the Supporters Trust, and made possible by those who have supported our fundraising efforts, through buying football cards or raffle tickets, or participating in the on line raffle. Thank you to all of you, it has been a true team effort.

I'm just talking about hotel/events/conference facilities because it's the thing I know most about, and I can talk with some authority about the economic benefits. The site could bring equal, or even better, economic benefit with other uses also. The current stadium is hardly the most atmospheric, and a new compact stadium that brings the fans closer to the pitch would greatly improve that. 4 smaller stands to keep it fully enclosed would also help.

My concerns about a new stadium would be the size. If it makes good financial sense to move to the UHI site, then we need a stadium which will accommodate the likely crowds should we find ourselves in the top flight at some stage. There is no reason why we shouldn't, and If league reconstruction increases the number in the top flight, it would be an even more likely scenario. Even in the 2nd tier, we can expect bigger crowds for cup games from time to time. I hope that when AS talks about a smaller ground, he is referring to the footprint of the stadium. A stadium with the same capacity, but with a steeper rake and without all the wasted space between the pitch and the front row of seats would both take up a smaller footprint and provide for a better view and a much better atmosphere. Having a much more fan friendly and atmospheric stadium could be a significant factor in attracting more people to come to games and then to persuade them to come more regularly. The Supporters Trust's Matchday Survey highlighted several factors about our current ground which were felt to be poor. Fans responding to the survey came up with a wide range of ideas to make the matchday experience better. So, whether we stay or move, I would urge the future management team to have a good look at the survey and build in some of the ideas to future plans. The club is just in the process of escaping from a near death experience, where it was almost sunk by putting its faith in attempted non-football activities, and one of the first things Alan Savage highlighted when he came in back in August was the need to refocus on football activities. In any case, is there any need for another hotel in the area if the new prison is already there?

Oh well, at least I got something for my joker and have inched up the table slightly!

When I think of a community type stadium within the UHI I come up with something that’s suitable for a highland/lowland league type setup. I’m all for moving to another stadium if it helps us in the long run but we get attendances of a mid table championship side at the very minimum. I hope it wouldn’t end up being one of these astro soulless grounds that are being knocked up around the country. Ainslie Park or something similar to KPark spring to mind.

You know me Don. I have nothing but respect for Kenny. I did not like the way it ended for him. He was caught between a rock and a hard place and resigned the day we got relegated. I was there that day (unfortunately) and my son was one of the two mascots. I dont think Kenny got run off for running the club that way however, it was more to do with the fact that he put too much faith in Richie Foran and was ultimately too loyal to him when results did not work out. Loyalty and faith in your employees are wonderful qualities in most businesses but apprently not in football as we know. Being an honourable man, he resigned when we got relegated as he knew the buck stopped with him as the Chairman. He is and always will be regarded in my eyes as one of the best Chairmen we ever had, and in my opinion, those that followed him began the demise that led us to where we are today.

Do we even know if Scott wants to continue beyond the end of the season?
