  1. Cos I only know that there's going to be a show and the Caley Thidtle will be there. 1000th in the Premiership against Rangers - wasn't even a Feckin dream in 1994.

  2. All testing has gone to plan, just got to put together the pages for it on the new website and we'll be good to go for tomorrow night. I'll post more info later.

  3. With the tight turnaround for us to get everything in place to stream the Rangers game (Outside UK & Ireland) I've not had a chance to sort the new online home for it, so we'll be keeping it basic for tomorrow night. If you are planning tuning in then you'll need to register an account on ICTFC.com to gain access. Payment is taken via PayPal....but you can use your card if you don't have a PayPal account (instructions are given). It'll cost you £5 for the live stream (introductory offer).....and all being well, we'll also offer it On Demand in the UK after the holdback time....which I need to triple check, but should be midnight for Friday games. Oh....the match will also have our own commentary on it. We're not set up to offer commentary only in the UK for tomorrow night, but do intend to make it available in the future (for a small fee). I'll paste up the links here, on the front page of ictfc.com and via social media as soon as possible tomorrow.

  4. Clearly a discussion that would be better suited to the UK Football section of the site as opposed to hijacking what could, and should, have been a far more interesting discussion about a milestone match for ICTFC....and the 999 that have come before.

  5. Name another club that would have brought 30,000 to a third division game and I'd say bring them in instead of new rangers. Potential applicants with longer history? Does that really matter? East Kilbride are a brand new club with ambition and are looking to gain entry to league 2 for next season. If there was a vote for automatic promotion mine would be for them, because I believe they have the biggest potential, not because of their history. I think we might have played our first season in the third division too actually. Weird. Who really cares who we play our 1000th game against? I'm here to see caley thistle. Some of this bitterness towards old/new rangers is getting tiresome.

  6. ICT I should hope. After all, as far as I know he's never been associated with The Rangers has he? In any case, he'll hopefully be saying nice things about us because of the manner of our victory.

  7. It's about 1000 games since TopSix paid to get in.

  8. I don't know the answer to that but do know that our opponents on Friday have played about 800 competitive matches fewer than us.

  10. Probably very tactful but will more than likely compliment Tremarcos header in goal, Tanseys penalty and Mckays instinctive turn and shoot inside the box. You never know he may even say nice things about all of our other goals, controlling the ball, distribution and keeping Rangers at bay.

  11. Milestone programme is magic btw! Jus had a flick through it and it's top notch! Makes an already exciting game tomorrow night, even more exciting! Also, quite that CJTV Live goes erm Live on game 1000! Brilliant! Is the Modern Football Machine (BT Sport) doing any features? Or will they be focusing on the Soap Opera that's visiting?

  14. What a shame our 1000th game is against 'them'. I wouldn't have minded purchasing the magazine on this milestone occasion but I refuse to have anything that has 'them' in it.

  15. Obviously the pre-Christmas update didn't happen, but the club took a huge step forwards in regards to developing it's online offerings with the installation of a high speed line at the stadium during the past week.....and we'll be working hard over the next few days to try and get ourselves in a position to launch live streaming with the Rangers game on Friday night for overseas fans, with an on-demand option being made available for UK viewers after the hold back period. We'll be doing some testing Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evening so keep your eyes peeled on here for information on how you can help with that by patching in to streams and giving us feedback on how it functions etc. We have made a start on the second part mentioned in my last post above by adding 2 new volunteers to the Media Team. Liam and Sean have been with us for a couple of weeks now and are quickly coming up to speed....in fact I can say with some confidence that they have already passed the point of being time consuming (through the need to be trained etc) and are now productive members of the team. As well as assisting on match days with the first team, they will also be covering development matches as and when available. Priority will be on our home games to start with, but that will extend to away games more and more as we build on their skill set and ability to function independently....it all just takes a little bit of time.

  16. Agreed, they are every bit as bad as the club with a similar name that for some reason they were permitted to replace in the league ahead of other potential applicants with far longer history yet much much less baggage.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.

    • Inverness CT (1-2) Hamilton - Play off Final 2nd Leg - Preview
The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.
