  1. Yes, but the club (or certain individuals in the club) appear to change their mind at will as to their hours of business. For reasons which I will not bore you with I was unable to book my tickets before Saturday. I phoned the stadium yesterday about 1.30 and got the answering service and left a message, but no-one phoned me back. I turned up at the shop about 2.20pm but was told that it was too late as they were not selling any more of the testimonial tickets until Monday because they were too busy. I understand where you are coming from Gordy as I too will be severely p****d off if I don't get my tickets tomorrow. Thanks, mate. I know I was not the only one affected as there were a few more beside me in the cabin. If they cant cope with demand, they should hire more staff. I have never seen those times published anywhere, Alex, and even if they are, would it not have been appropriate to reiterate them? The whole point of marketing commuications are to ease the path to purchase. This is not the first time that the marketing function at ICT have cocked up - remember the Celtic tickets email and subsequent apology? Get someone to proof read for grammar, spelling, punctuation and sense. It only takes a minute, and creates an aura of professionalism and even competence.
  2. Might I enquire as to what that has to do with anything?

  4. you have had all week why wait until now? Might I enquire as to what that has to do with anything?
  5. From the press release above.... "Single tickets for season ticket holders are guaranteed until close of business on Saturday" NO THEY BLOODY WEREN'T! I went along to the portacabin immediately after the game, it was open, but was told that they didnt sell tickets after the game! The cabin was open; open for business, but I couldn't get my Liverpool brief! What was it someone said "SPL club, Highland league administration". How very true!! I will be more than a little upset if my seat is sold by the time get there on Monday!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Well deserved MOM. He is one of the things that make me feel confident abou next season. The smileyometer up the hill is about right though. I dont think Dennis deliberately missed anything, he is just underskilled. Cowie and others missed sitters. It showed me today how erratic we were this season to only finish a wee bit above Smirren. I think our place for the end will be safe, as they are one of the few sides I can see Rangers beating recently. Ho hum, roll on July.
  7. Just on the radio - Dennis Wyness will NOT be an ICT player next season. No confirmation of the probable Smirren deal, though. Lets hope that doesn't turn round and bite us on the bum. So long Denzil - many many happy moments and a standing ovation this afties. Maybe from both sides...
  8. tbh I wasn't sure what I wanted to happen tonight, but the old reflex kicked in as I jumped for joy when the Russians scored goal 1. It was kinda laughable when Walter started loading up the strikers with 10 minutes to go, I fully expected McCoist to get warmed up too. There was no plan B. All the logical arguments for wanting them to win, and there are many, went out the window when I realised that them having a "quadruple" would be intolerable. It would be like 1966 all over again. I cant see QOS beating them, but I hope Celtic win the league, and I am no fan of theirs either. As for the fans; here is a quote from the Manchester Evening News. ?I stopped in the centre of town today enjoying the atmosphere and colours of the Rangers fans. However after a few minutes I was left totally shocked and disgusted.? Aye, count your lucky stars you wont be seeing them for another 30 years, matey!
  9. History suggests the VAST majority of these players capped at this level go on to dissappear into oblivion Jeez, are we talking Bermuda Triangle here?
  10. Unfortunately McCurry is both a cretin and a cheat, but where the OF are concerned he is more cheat than cretin. I fully support Levein and I hope he gathers more vocal support from those who matters. Like so much of the Scottish game this is laughable if it wasn't so sad. btw wasn't Chicken McCurry the one who recently gave Ferguson the goal where he trapped it with his hand before turning and shooting. Cant recall the game.
  11. I am liking the fact that Rosco has scored more goals than Barry Robson! Stats, eh? Promise you everything, tell you nothing!
  12. The irony... After having watched all different kinds of dross being served up this season, I take one week off, and look what happens! Watching the goals on BBC, there wasn't a dud amongst them, all with great build up play. And all different scorers. Cowie with another volley! It will be up to CB to work out why that worked so well, and to see if we can repeat it over the next two games. Grand stuff.

No-one was a bigger fan than me, but I think the alarm has gone off on Dennis now. He went to Hearts based on his Div 1 record. He failed to make the step up there and whilst he has provided moments here, he has never cut it in the SPL. We kept thinking it us just around the corner - wait till his confidence returns/back from injury/good partner. He has just not found his striking boots, since the lower level. He will succeed at County and will generate a few "promotion contenders" flurries *snigger*, but we need goals, and he aint got them.
  14. Hi there, is this going to be in association with Good for a Giggle? They are loadsa laffs.
  15. Fascinating. Sounds to be pretty hard done by, but why did he enter into the Marius debate without getting assurances in writing. As a fan, I will want to know if these accusations are true and no doubt Mr S. is now working up his responses - he obviously cant say that they were political. Savage is stating the obvious, however, when he talks about Marius. If he does well in the Summer he will be off for big bucks and kerching, Savage is a hero. If he fails to shine, he will still be off and the club will have recouped the investment. Either way, and mark this, he will be off. His wage, as it stands is beyond our means, and any bid to pay it will cost us dear. He will never win us big for us. The bottom line, however, is that a football club is not a charity, nor a community resource - it is a results driven business. We are only paying customers, and like buying a house, or shopping for groceries, the big boys will fight it out, and we will get what we will get - the rest is hot air. As for the stadium at the Bught!!! I was wondering what happened to that one!!
  16. It is heartening however, that Orion, have seen to contact this board directly themselves rather than allow us to hear all the stuff round it via the meeja. I am just disappointed that those who run the club have seen it suitable to p1sh around with us, the fans and stakeholders, in such a shoddy dishonest and deceitful manner. These wordgames are lies, and we deserve better. We know that not everything works all the time, and mistakes can be made at all levels. Lets start seeing some owning up. Where next? A hunder season tickets lie in the balance. I for one am heartily stick of the whole sh1tey mess.
  17. Quite IHE. Last time they were up here they were shockingly lacklustre, on par with Gretna. I could not beleive how we could have lost to them away, we must have been very bad or they had improved. I think it was the former. They are still a poor side apart from a few wee tricks goin forward. They made us look very good, so lets not get carried away. Which isn't to say I hadn't a great afternoon. Roy was my MOM, great going forward, picking up all sorts of things and to my eyes, certainly took the second goal. Imrie is much improved and has come on a lot since he came here. Big things await him. Marius took his goal well, and nearly got a cracker a few minutes earlier, with a first timer. Dennis didn't do it and I think he never will again. Hart put on a good show whilst on the field, and the two of them will make things sizzle over the bridge next season. Fair display, and whilst the defence did seem to be tighter, we still lack bite up front. All being well, we should get up a place or two with performances like these, as it seems Falkirk may have gone of the boil, and Jams having a morale crisis. And as someone has pointed out the ref played a great game, which is a refreshing change. Or maybe it was because Black and Duncan weren't playing!
  18. I dont wish to be uncharitable, but does a double hernia mean that you do stupid fouls, mijudge the path of the ball, and pass to opposition players??
  19. Yes, very. It seems they hold their board in the same low esteem as we do. But sick, as I am of our own internal politics, I can't say I care a whit why. Good quote too from Malcolm, "I have just found out about the Chester City allegation myself and it has come as a surprise as we would never do anything illegal at ICT." ARE YOU HEARING PAUL SHEERIN??!!?? ARE YOU HEARING RICHIE HART?!?!!??
  20. All true and that is why the older players, those with wife and kids, are keen to stay/come back. The younger ones want to get away to noise.
  21. More gossip. FOAP (friend of a player) confirms that... Whilst held in high regard as a player, IB is disliked for his big heed. He had something to apologise to the other players for, and did this in the most perfunctory and disrespectful manner. He has interest from other clubs and will be off if the price is right. His Dad is his real manager and gets many of his personality traits from him. CB has not lost the dressing room - is well liked, but is a hard taskmaster. QFT, as someone, in another thread says.
  22. You haven't had Paul Sheerin in your taxi, have you?
  23. He's not the Messiah! He's a very naughty boy!
  24. Pugwash, America, Courageous, Kirk, Birdseye, Para Handy, Beefheart, Scarlett, Hook, Jack Sparrow, Corelli...your guess is as good as mine.
