Esson Tokely, McGuire, Munro, Hastings Cowie, Duncan, Black, Vigurs Barrowman, Rooney subs. Fraser, Duff, Zander, McBain, Imrie Why don't you just play a basic 4-4-2 formation Brewster. With a right footer on the right wing and a left footer on the left wing and 2 strikers up front. It's called the basics of football, theres even a magazine named after it, 4-4-2.

He was good in the 1st half on Sunday imo. Second half though he was back to his normal old self. Not that i really care but where was McGuire?
  3. Yet another teenager to add to long list of inexperienced players in our team, only theres a twist, this one needs a visa to play for us. Also he's a trialist. we never sign trialists.
  4. Said on Sky Sports that they hope he will accept the offer. Despite the slight difference in wage it won't be that different than playing here....unless we go down. If he goes there will be no decent players left. Apart from Tokely and Munro.

I agree with that, Steve Paterson assembled a fantastic squad of talented, hard working footballers who almost anybody could have inherited and achieved success with. Robertson also signed some good players in his stint. But the squad has started to wither away, and the buck stops with the manager. Alan Morgan, Dennis Wyness, Richie Hart and Barry Wilson were all talented, hard working players (like most pele signings) who did an excellent job for ICT but were foolishly jettisoned leaving a void that hasn't been filled. I totally agree there, in the year that Brewster has been here he has cleared out the mainstays mentioned above and never sufficently replaced them, tbh i'd add Bayne and Rankin to that category as well. Thats why our current squad looks so rubbish overall.

Happy to claim i have one of those ties that actually belong to my father Am i right in thinking they were limited edition?
  7. We can not keep going back!!! Look at where going back for a manager has got us. Yes Robbo won us the 1st Division and yes his overall time at ICT was sucessful but that was then and this is now. It was his choice to walk out in 2004 and since then his track record has been terrible. We are bottom of the table with a seriously depleted squad and imo it will take alot to raise that and i certainly don't think Robbo will be up to it. What we need is a new face with new ideas. Somone who dosen't know the team.

Out on the left wing he is excellent and i agree that he has got a sweet left foot as well. Another thing that really impressed was his confidence to both challenge players and take them on with the ball. Something a number of our other youngsters have failed to do. Good to see the club have got his long term future sorted.
  9. Kerr's not a bad shout - I don't know what went wrong at Hibs (maybe, as you say, being played out of position) but he's definitely got enough ability to do well in the SPL. Attitude problem, perhaps? A touch of the Michael Stewarts, having played in the EPL? Would he want to come here and could we afford him? Mate of mine supports Hibs and he told me Kerr left because he felt undermined at Paatelainen bringing back Ian Murray and was told he had a future at Hibs. Then in the summer wasn't even allocated a shirt number. Also found out that Norwich are looking to offload ex St Mirren winger Simon Lappin. He'd be a good addition imo.

He obviously dosen't pay any attention to this website! How many threads have been started about a replacement for Brew?? Guy probably dosen't even attend home games, what a joke.

His better day's are well and truely past him but he could be a decent signing in terms of leadership and experience. He's an Elgin lad as well so strictly speaking he is not to far away from home. Could prove to be a good capture should we get him.
  12. Its Pozniak...and i saw him play against Ross County and he was crap, no thank you. Brian Kerr is still a free agent having left Hibs. Rocco Quinn and Joe Hammill at Livingston are both very good wide players. Could may'be try and get Josh Walker from Middlesbrough. Also if we were to poach a County player i would take Michael Gardyne, he's an outstanding player.

Dosen't seem genuine enough for me to believe it that Munro is in favour of Brewster.
  14. I think this perhaps shows what little intrest Tullochs David Sutherland takes in the matter because he seems to think we are out to get his good friend George Fraser, which no one is doing. He shows such little intrest in the footballing matters imo. In my own view George Fraser has been ok about everything. He has noticed something has to be done and producing a good budget for January is a decent decision. Does he have the authority to fire Brew??
  15. Even after this is still don't think Brewster will go. Nice to see even the BBC caught this with intrest.
  16. AJS replied to Richard_Fairbrass's topic in Caley Thistle
He is way to lightweight to be a centre-half. Just got shoved off by Chris Porter so easily on Saturday. He is clearly the weak link in our backline atm. I think this reiterates the shout for a new defender in January, along with a new manager.
  17. Will miss him. Hope he goes now so we can get a fee for him rather than go at the end of the season foer nothing. We lost Dargo, Dods and Brown 2 years ago in a similar situation, looks like we will lose Black, Cowie and Fraser this year. Such fools we have for a Board.
  18. Fraser : Is ok, got a bit complacent this season and needs to learn a bit but still good. Esson : Best signing we made so far. Has Certainly showed why he was once considered for Scotland. McNulty : Only 2 times i've seen him play he has been crap, enough said. Tokely : Still the best full back we've ever had. Clearly missed when not playing. Proctor : Still a decent right-back, but pritty useless as a center back. Munro : Whats to say? Is ever present and is clearly hurting at seeing us play so bad. McGuire : Is not too bad, struggled with injury and has a point to prove but still a decent center back. Duff : The more games he plays the better he will get imo. Kerr : On loan at Elgin, not sure. Hastings : Has blown hot and cold all season. I think he is another to be suffering from complacency. Djebi-Zadi : Worst headerer of the ball i've ever seen. And his defensive decisions in the reserves are scary. Wilson : If i was gaffer he would be a regular, is sorely missed on the pitch and off imo. Cowie : Playing badly because he is not in a comfy position but is still good, but his days are numbered. Vigurs : One of the best young players we have. Sweet left foot and still has alot of growing to do. Zander : He's shown in patches what he can do. 2 years on and i'm still saying i want to see him more. Black : Arguably best player of the season. Praying that he stays. Duncan : Absolute drivvel. Worst passer of the ball in our team. And very often loses the ball badly. McBain : Is past his best but still has a bit of life left in him yet. Imrie : Very inconsistent but is another suffering from being played out of position. Rooney : Biggest goal threat we have. Should be starting more and he is only 20! Wood : Is ok but could be better, needs to work on his first touch and his finishing. Barrowman : Not worth his wage atm. But hasn't got the striker partner to help him. McAllister : Has barely played, but strangely is showing real promise in the reserves. Overall view. The most inexperienced squad i've ever seen for the SPL. We had better ones in the 1st division and we have lost too many stalwarts over the last year who have never been replaced which i think is resulting in why were so poor.
  19. Couldn't care less about Roy McBain...to me he is more done than Wilson ever has been. We will probably end up keeping Proctor. But Blacks an Edinburgh lad and i fear that as long as Brewsters still dismantling our team in January he will be away, Cowie too. If that happens my faith in the long term future of ICT goes with them.
  20. I seriously think we will struggle to attract players full stop. Our SPL status is in question for next season. We have an egotistical fool for a manager. To most in the central belt area Inverness is like Iceland in their eyes. We are too bad for publically declaring intrest in players, something of which i think Brewster has been criticised for in the past while at Dundee Utd and has resulted in bigger clubs poaching these players. New ideas, new approaches and new tactics are seriously required, Brewster out!
  21. AJS replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
This really dosen't help Brewsters case as so far the only people to defend his position as ICT manager are... Jimmy Calderwood, a manager that no one here really likes. And David Proctor. One of Brews golden boys but certainly not a golden boy among the fans. I find this very hard to take seriously.
  22. This club is falling apart. Reason Cowies been so rubbish this season is because Brewster plays him out of position. Same with Imrie, Proctor and even Barrowman. Why does he insist on playing them in areas where they are clearly uncomfortable. If we lose Cowie and Black we will go down simply because we will have no quality midfielders left whatsoever. Alot of good midfielders left last season and Brew was too thick to forget about getting any half decent replacements. BREWSTER OUT!!!!
  23. We are halfway there. Now all we need to do is get shot of Brew asap, appoint somone within a week and give them the funds in January so we can get this miserable club back competing for a top 6 place. But no matter how many times i say it...it won't happen
  24. AJS replied to MichaelICT's topic in Caley Thistle
The fact that it's Proctor who is coming out standing up for the manager is going to have no affect on what we think. But for the board who knows. Notice how slightly more important players haven't bothered to say the same as Proctor like Grant Munro.
  25. Gary McAllister has been sacked because of what we are in. 5 straight defeats. Plus he turned down the Scotland job because he wanted to stay south of the border. Why an earth would he come here? Taking a manager back is being proved to be bad right now. So why would we do it again????
