  1. 2 class goals from May today.
  2. Squeaky bum time for out bottom six neighbours. I would not be surprised if Adams is seeking new employment next month.
  3. The club has now secured a new sponsor for next season and news of this will be released shortly.
  4. All of Iain Stewart's 25 yard lob goals. Barry Wilson's goal on the first game back home after the exile in Aberdeen Foran's overhead winner in the season we got promotion back to the SPL Beating Celtic 1-0 in the SC. Beating Ayr in the SC after being 3 nil down at half-time
  5. Great news about Draper which has really cheered me up. I think we are well set up for next season and once we get a couple of strikers the squad will be the envy of many other clubs.
  6. The team know that on their day they have the beating of the Dons. They've already defeated them at Aberdeen and there is no reason why that can't do it again tomorrow. SO, keep that thought in your heads and do yourselves and the fans proud.
  7. Watkins, when he comes on as a sub and scores the winner
  8. That was a good sending off for us then, for a change.
  9. Good suggestion Alex but this company is owned entirely by the Scottish Government, so there is no chance of them giving over taxpayers money as sponsors. The company is owned by the Scottish Parliament but is run as a Private Ltd Company and I believe the taxpayers money that went into saving the company and the airports has been recovered long since. This company operates in the black and is making decent profits. Bearing in mind that advertising generates income I dont think the parliament would object to some of the profits being used for such purposes. Besides advertising budgets are tax deductable so it would mean a little less going to the UK treasury. The company gets the majority of its funding from the government as a direct subsidy. So even though in name it is Ltd company in reality it is an arm of government and therefore would not be allowed to sponsor a football club.

  11. I really enjoyed tonight's game. We played as a team unlike County who played as individuals and with no team spirit. Foran was immense and looked really fired up for the game. Brill made a superb save early in the second half which could have made things interesting but apart from that we were very comfortable winners. Best chant of the evening was: "you're getting sacked in the morning" for guess who
  12. Re the St Johnstone game, yeap it true that many away supporters were locked out. Yes this was a fantastic turnout but a sizeable number of the support could not be classed as "regular or even Caley fans . They attended because the home tie had captured the Inverness public attention and they wanted to see the return game. ICT has managed to tap into some of this support over the years and we all know they will come out when it matters. The challenge is to another get 700+ of these supporters to attend home games on a regular basis.
  13. Are these confirmed? For the Motherwell game on the 19th I hope the players will have recovered from the cup victory celebrations
  14. A day on since our fantastic glorious win and I still feel elated and so proud of the team who gave absolutely everything. Everone played their part but Nick Ross does deserve special mention as he must have been gutted not to be in the starting line up. He did make an impact when he came on and he could so easily have gone down for a penalty (I wonder if Beaton would have given it). The team showed a tremendous never say die attitude and I just wonder if our name is written on the cup - that's two games in a row in this competition where we have scored in the last minute. I also think our fans were brilliant yesterday and made much more noise than Hearts for the whole match. I didn't see any of our fans leaving early despite things looking bleak. As for Hamill, poetic justice was done when he missed the penalty - served him right for all the time wasting etc.
  15. Well done to Davie and CTJ for this brilliant effort.

The defence picks itself unless there's a problem with Meekings head injury; and if Shinnie is moved back to left back, which I don't will happen. So for Hughes, the midfield will present the biggest selection problem. I think Draper must go back in because of his physical presence, drive and determination. Is Watkins fit enough to play from the start? The manager has some massive selection decisions to make and if he gets it right a place in the cup final could be ours and this could be the springboard to a strong finish in the league.
  17. Why do folk seem to think that Hughes was a cheap option compared to Hartley or other candidates? The only realistic "expensive" option would have been Levine and I don't think he ever was really that interested. All the other candidates would have been offered a similiar salary package to Hughes. The Board appointed Hughes because they considered him to be man for the job. I back them on that and will be giving the manager and the team my loud and full support next Sunday and beyond.
  18. There would be no need for a rematch if they had floodlights that worked properly. It's all gone quiet with Roy M's investigation to find out what went wrong with lights. The reason being, rather than the floodlight failure due to some external force, it was actually due to a transformer fault which they previously knew about but did not spend the money to replace it at the time.
  19. Same team as last Saturday, except Warren in for Devine. A hard decision but Warren is the MAN. Draper for the bench.
  20. Tremarco must be close to picking up a suspension, so that will free up a midfield space as Shinnie will slot back into defence (not that i'm wishing this to happen because he's doing a good job).
  21. They may succeed in making Stevenson available but they risk getting players injured before the cup tie. Not too bothered about this.
  22. After last season's semi cup tie, I certaintly won't be taking anything for granted and I'm sure the team will be of the same mind. But I do think the team we will be highly motivated and determined to get to the final. If they play to their potential then Hearts will need to play out of their skins.
  23. According to John Robertson, some of the Dutch players, signed in the summer, are are being frozen out and are training with the under 20's. Some of these players are on 3 year contracts, so a very expensive failed experiment by Mr Adams. And so much for County being a community club and bringing on its own players through its overhyped "academy". Not much evidence of home grown players in the current first team. It will be very interesting to County's financial accounts because if these very expensive new signings are being financed by County then they will be facing a substantial loss this season. However it may be their sugar daddy is financing it himself. One thing is for sure, County are not living withing their own means.
