On yet another positive note....
...it was pleasing to see Richie Hart training hard yesterday during shots of Deano. This could be the best season of his career.

Blades considering next steps
Inverness had to fight for their rightful place in the SPL. Court attendance was the order of the day. Subsequently Livingston were generally deemed to be in the wrong but survived without points being docked. Sheffield heard the result of a tribunal yesterday which basically said we can only check that the procedures were correctly followed but there is no doubt in our minds that you were well and truly shafted because of the way West Ham conducted their business. They should have had points deducted but there is nothing we can do within our terms of reference. Sheffield started their pre-season back in the Premier League in the Highlands...... Justice may still occur if United find a quick and successful judicial review route. Livingston were of course relegated once they ceased using expensive business consultants as unpaid players.

Beating "them" just got a whole lot easier
In the real world football is a whole lot harder. Playing on grass against real teams fighting for annual survival never gets easier. Look back at the history of ICT and it was complacency that downed us. Recall the 5-1 home defeat to Ross County. Charlie has acknowledged we have a very painful start to the season and if we want to get points on the board and avoid an early day St Mirren again everyone grafts.

Blades considering next steps
Given last season's pre-season game it is truly remarkable that they took from the Highlands a touch of the Court of Session so ably mastered by ourselves. For West Ham the saga has a touch of the Livingston great escape about it and we can but hope justice is still done before the new season starts.

Looking for a keeper?
I suspect they will all be snapped by Hibs in the next 24 hours in a desperate attempt to solve their longstanding problems.

'Inverness hold Niculae talks'
http://www.mariusniculae.ro/ Quite an achievement to get him to fly to Inverness. Looks slightly better than Brewster and an even bigger signing than Paul Ritchie from Hong Kong on a free!!!

Dargo is a Saint?
If you contrast his exit with other players such as Denzil,Barry, and Dodsy, they all went onto better contracts. However, they conducted their exits with dignity. In Barry, Denzil and Richard they conducted their re-entry with dignity too! Craig has openly made it clear it was for money. He is better off our books if he lacked ambition which a move to St Mirren is and now we know why Charlie had to sub him so often.

MERGED: McDonald signs for ICT
Charlie and Parky are the only management duo in the country who can see eye to eye with him so he will be a great success.

MERGED: McDonald signs for ICT
The Gillingham web site have him taller. Name: Dean McDonald Nationality: English Date of Birth: 19/02/1986 Height: 5' 7" (170cm) Weight: 11st 0lbs (69.92kg) Great goal scorer - motivation is apparently the problem.

Unfortunate Surname
Adds a new meaning when the boss says to Bobby Mann get tight up to the centre forward.

Singing Section Next Season
Will Elton John be asked to open it?

Robbo's Humble Pie
It is unlikely he would return as diet and fitness coach. The heading should read Robbo's a Pork Pie!

Unfortunate Surname
He's not Scheidt though. 'rafael scheidt So farewell then Rafael You cost several million They must be laughing their bums off On the Copacabana at that one If you have tears prepare to shed them as we take a painful journey through the Celtic career of Rafael Scheidt. December 15 1999 was the fateful day when the boy from Brazil finally put pen to paper, and caused a million guffaws at the pronunciation of his surname. His signing had been touted for many a month. Celtic contract guru Jim Hone had travelled to South America to clinch the deal that would see the Brazilian national team centre half sign up in Glasgow. Basically things went badly wrong from minute one. He wasn't fit, on the eve of his debut he was taken to hospital with appendicitis, he collided with a team mate in training, injuring himself quite seriously in the process and by the time he was due to actually make an appearance the manager who had signed him was back in punditry purgatory. In his first six months in Scotland he had played less than 90 minutes of first team football. Oh and there was small matter of a major scandal brewing in Brazil; apparently the national manager had been taking bungs from Brazilian league clubs to pick duds to play in meaningless friendly games, allegedly to seduce gullible European clubs into shelling out for a "Brazilian international". Sound familiar? ' see http://www.ntvcelticfanzine.com/

Dargo is a Saint?
Ambition knows no bounds with Craig. He looks light weight compared with Skippy.

Dargo is a Saint?
Dargo only played two thirds of last season. Brown played a half. There will be some good players around without contracts for a while yet.

Not a-fecki-gain
The guy is an international whose confidence was dented playing in the First Division.

The meat in the sandwich
Having now entered our fixtures onto the calendar I can see the SPL have come up with a two games home two games away plan for us even beyond what Scotty highlighted. It is quite bizarre. I was aware yesterday of complaints by Dons fans but did not check ours in detail.

The meat in the sandwich
Who play Gretna away on boxing day, St Mirren away a few days later, Inverness home on 2 January and then Falkirk away three days later and then take on Dundee United in their next game, again away? Our players and supporters are warned of an angry reception at Pittodrie with fixtures like that!

Who do we go for then?
Have faith - Paul Ritchie was pulled out of the hat at the last minute. Dargo arrived late. One of the great things about Dargo's refusal to sign is that this should motivate 95% of the players at ICT. The highest paid player is expected to be the best. That destabilises a team when the goods are not delivered. Last year Brewster caused havoc behind the scenes so I see this as a new dawn with new fresh players coming in.

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
I remember the pre season trips to Kirkwall and Stornoway in the days of wee Bobby Mann. Now we have Qatar in Italy but no Bobby Mann or Darren Dods.

Dargo...the saga continues
I'm with Bucket here. Craig is a good honest guy on a well earned break and is highly unlikely to be messing around with work business. He must feel confident he can come back to a good job considering he is currently unemployed though.

Letter of complaint
If we could clone 5,000 IHE's just for one match we would have colour, passion, vibrancy and total support - that is normally seen only at top Cup games. The players need that leadership and inspiration and I am pleased you have conducted your formal complaint so formally. I am convinced the Club will respond to the satisfaction of the majority of supporters. The good ship has been through many storms and berthed at many ports. Occasionally alien cultures can create problems but I see good times on the horizon.

4th stand sorted! £25k and we get 4th stand
That stand would not even grace the far end of Victoria Park Dingwall. Our fourth stand should be an absolute monument to who ever commissions and pays for it. Now a stand looking like a piano might look good.

Scotland U20
Zander has the biggest chance of his career to make a sensible name for himself. I hope Rory makes the breakthrough because I am definitely a believer in his ability too.

Livi banned from signing players?
That was my point about Katchloul. However he gives Pierce one piece of advice about Dorado, and gets that wrong! Intelligent Finance?
