Interesting...
I was happy enough with the team's performance, and a very welcome 3 points. Tokely was completely out of order in venting his spleen on the wee physio girly who's only concern after all was for his injury and his well being. His behaviour was pathetic and childish - I do hope he intends to apologise. Johnboy, I was sitting just behind the dugout. He grabbed his hand away twice, shouting "f**king h*ll twice. I said a bit more than that when I got my last fracture x-rayed, none of aimed at anyone.

"Let's all be negative!" Nah, RiG, it's gone beyond that. B&C if you are really that unhappy, go support someone else (after reading that dictionary entry of course) Then read the entry for Troll.

Talking shyte does not constitute mind games. Witty, insightful banter (are we not aliens springs to mind) is. Retard. I have a psychology degree and have 3 daughters and a wife... when you have these qualifications, come on here and tell me what is and what is not mind games... idiot! Great! You have both the theoretical and the practical cornered there, and believe me I know. I thought this post was long deid! Actually, if Kiltarlity had read the post, we were both saying the same thing, i.e. that DA's mind games werenae up to much.I stick to that. BTW, I respect your intellect and fertility friend, but mine? I'll keep that to myself.

Interesting...
This thread started off about nae pleasing everybody after yesterday, yes? Then the thread degenerates into evidence of just that. Yesterday, we scored two with no reply. With a bit more skill/ luck it could have (should have) been five or six. The team was set up the right way, kept it's shape well and even if some individual performances wernae great stuck to it. Substitutions worked, and still the greetin faced turn up pedalling woe and misery. It wasn't "sunday league" football, and I wish that Butcher had retorted to that one when he heard it from some half wit during the match. It wasn't unacceptable for Rosscoe to swear like bu**ery with what looked like a dislocated finger, and he owes no one an apology for that. There are people on here that seem determined to take the gloss off any win. How would you like to play in front of that week in week out? Look up any dictionary for the meaning of the word "support" and it ain't what's happening here. Both Butcher & Malpas looked like they wanted to be anywhere but in that dug out yesterday, so the naysayers might be on to something- after all 4th at this stage in the season, in a cup final with a team in transition is nothing to celebrate is it?

ICT -V- Airdrie Utd : matchday thread
We won 2-0 against the team that is at foot of the table. "Let's not get carried away here" should be the lesson learnt last week. My mistake, eh? Jay 7 what is it with you? If you have such a downer on the players, management, plying style etc. etc. why not go and support someone you do like. A 2-0 win that could have been loads more, and not a single positive comment. Jings.

ICT -V- Airdrie Utd : matchday thread
Nae a bad game at all. Two goals to the good and it could/ should have been more. Thought their keeper was good and they threw their bodies in the way just in the nick of time on countless occasions. In truth, could have been 4 or 5. Had a novel experience sitting in the main stand just behind the dug out. I had no idea how bad the atmosphere was there, but I do now. It wasn't "Sunday league football" as was being screamed from behind me along with every negative comment in the book. Whoever you were (in section D, main stand, at the back of the lower section) I clocked you as did Butcher. Your comments showed that you knew feck all about fitba. Do Butcher & his players a favour and stay away. I hope TB reads this, well done today. Right selection, right tactics, good encouragement.Which is more than can be said for yon mainstander.

Have Dundee got it
Nah, never did, never will. as many posters have said, any team in the top 7 in this league can beat the other, so there's no way I can see them pulling away from everybody else. They might sign people in January but, so will everybody else! Mind you, if they do get up, that's a fair few easy points for the arabs!

Butcher's aftermatch comments in the NOTW
we were not actually that far off sneaking something on saturday, and the problem is that some think we should be rodgering this lot rather than recognising that they are no a bad team and some thought needs putting into this. It's not as if they are Morton. Like the last league game against the g*p*s, we were too narrow and static at the back. All they had to do was spread the ball wide and we were in doo doo. This might explain why Rossco is looking somewhat disengaged at times. If that channel wasn't open to them, they had another easy option through the middle of a fairly lightweight midfield (proctor, sanchez, imrie) and in both these cases they then came up against a fragile centre back pair (Narius & grantie). I was nearly incontinent when Stephen Craig came on, as he was exactly the kind of direct runner we couldn't cope with. Relating this to Butcher's rant (and that's what it was, coming just after kicking doors, allegedly) I can see the frustrations. It's just a question of who he picks on, but he sets the team up and chose the wrong options on saturday. It's obvious that there are some mince teams in this league that we can all out attack against, but C*unt* ain't one of them. Lionel? Where are you Lionel?........

Ross County -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Was right behind the goal and didnae see any half bottle getting chucked. If I had, I might have jumped on after it I was so fed up at watching that p*sh.There was a red condiment bottle, though but that wouldn't have done the job for me. I thought that with a decent spine to the team, we might have been ok. As it was......... we need a decent centre back and someone that can score. Now.

Partick Thistle sign Steve Lovell
Yer right mannie. I don't think I've ever seen him have a decent game. He can chuck himself around a bit but thats it really. No worries.

Pride of Scotland?
I heard it kicked off because the stewards were trying to throw Donald Findlay out for singing and he was protesting that he was just shouting because some gypo had nicked his flute. I hope they get a (large) fine, and end up even more in the red than they were at the start!

Bear in mind that it does take them some time to calculate the numbers on the abacus.

Game/Goal highlights
you are kind of correct but its not quite that simple ... Bear in mind that the club cant just video it and stick it up on youtube, there are permissions and rights issues involved with putting it anywhere. As CD stated earlier, we will see what comes in the near future in discussions with Darren. we stand ready to work with them to create a separate site for audio/video but we simply cant do it without club buy-in as they hold all the rights and permissions and paying for those as a 3rd party would be a no-no. Scotty, I realise the complexity of this, but could no one at ICT see the benefits of a bit of effort?

Breaking News....
Hold on here; he might have been a numbers man but he was GENERAL manager. This is an all encompassing role (as in general) So he has to take some measure of responsibility for: The "gypsy" fiasco. It frittered out into a public confession of a problem that didn't exist, followed by posturing from the club and then no action whatever at the next c*unt* game. The only end result was really bad press for the club and it's fans. Numbers? Any input into the Niculae numbers then? These are numbers that are going to cause this club a significant problem in the near future, and more bad publicity. Dreadful catering? Alienating Section G? A risible club shop that could have maximised some income with a bit of effort but then rolled over into another badly handled staff cutting exercise and yet more bad publicity. These are just a couple of issues from someone who has no inside track on the club, which is why I have no idea what CC does and continues to be paid for. I think it's somewhat just that MS has now become a victim of the shoddy business he helped create/ administer. See you Mike.

can we win the league
Pointless thread. We'll know whether or not we can win the league on the second last day of the season when we are six points ahead. Till then, there's no point in discussing it.

Game/Goal highlights
I believe a joint-venture site would be acceptable under the rules so long as you give the club 50 or 51% of the say. All ICT games are recorded for training I believe. So, they have the technology, it's being used already and they have someone to do the filming. Then they miss out the revenue raising bit, the good PR bit and the service to the fans bit despite any amount of goodwill being expressed in helping the "community based" club to take the idea forward? Who would have believed it.

ICT -V- Morton : matchday thread
Smee, come on. Sanchez made, or had a hand in two of the goals! Great to watch, passing was good and the finishing was great. Defence could have been made to look a bit wobbly by a more decent side. Esson steady. I am thinking that we are hitting a bit of form at exactly the right time. Only down side was Barrowman's miss right on full time. I was really hoping he'd score and make the muppets that continue to leave early just a wee bit sick at having missed something. As well as cheering off your side at the end of the game.

I suppose these trolls were bound to appear at some point. But after one cracking result? Go back to your repossessed glesca cave dwelling.

Is Mid table Right place to be?
Top of the league, six points clear, one game to go. That's the place to be. Everything else is just moving the furniture about.

BBC Radio Scotland
Hud oan. Is there really a prospect of P/T football or is it just gobsh*te? If true, why is this not the biggest, angriest thread going. Why is there not revolution in the air? If not true, why is a senior player stirring it? Is it me or does this club get worse by the day?

Niculae Court Case
Wait a minute. You'd rather be in Div3 than be a showcase for talent? Is that so you could languish there and carp on about a committee rather than a board in a small town environment that perfectly mirrors your personality? Every successful team nowadays is a business, and the more backing you have the bigger the business/ team. Hoffenheim know that, Chievo know that. ICT's problem is with the controlling interest at the club that mitigates against any inward investment because it means a loss of control. Savage battle? bring it on.
