  1. Aye. i,m just roond the corner Smee. Will have to consider changing to BT , hearing a few folk impressed with them for broadband and their Vision is getting positive feedback now after a slow start Cheers Jay_7
  2. Interesting Smee, thats lots quicker than i can get, yer right,i'll have to go and dig up ISP ...AGAIN!! are you happy with BT as ISP? ps, I'm in the same estate, gie's a shout if ya see the black van wi ladders on the roof going about! Jay7 how do ya check the sync rate on yer router?
  3. Smee,i think from past discussions on here you stay fairly close in Cradlehall,i still only get 2 meg but at least it's fairly acceptable most of the time, although at peak times you tube still buffers and stutters.Neebors were also moaning about slow speeds.I thought BT were saying culloden exchange to here was max 3 meg?
  4. Absent Friend, please dinnae think for one minute that my lack of moaning on here is indicative of "mature aceptance",my toy's can and do go oot the pram on occasions!, I just dont feel an opposition team website is the correct place to bemoan our underachieving thus far, there's plenty done on DFC related forums though. All fans are quick to castigate the decision makers when things are going wrong and ICT fans are no different,( i actually think there possibly more patient than many)your younger fans however have only ever known upward momento and are probably taking the current step down badly.Reality will kick in regarding expectations to beat the percieved lesser lights in the division and a couple of bad results can have you staring the wrong end of the table very quickly. Like Dundee, ICT are now percieved as one of the teams to beat in the division and "wee'er" teams raise their games, our players have to realise this, dig deep and put in the required extra effort to justify there bigger wages and "big team" status or they will soon find out there's nae room for "Billy big times" in the first division
  5. What made Millwaukie famous...........?
  6. Pretty sure you'll find the vast majority of incomers are not in the 18-30 age bracket, but maybe the HIE could commision another survey to find out the demographics.like i said, great place to bring up kids and settle down, not so great for the night life and entertainment younger folk crave.
  7. As an outsider , meh opinion is, love the place, great place for us that are gettin on a bit and for bringing up family, would i live here when younger? nae chance! leave when yer 18 come back when yer 30ish..
  8. Folk go to concerts without looking to get bladdered? :D
  9. My first ever concert was Rod the Mod at the Caird hall Circa 74,queued out all night with mates, got front row tickets, great show. Intro was the recorded commentary from Scotlands world cup qaulifier then Rod ran on kicking balls into the crowd and playing keepy up whilst singing, great showman in his day, spect he's stiffened up a bit by now but will probly go and see him for old times sake
  10. Young Git!!! :) Enjoy yer day Scotty.
  11. Is that Diamonds or Diamonds United?
  12. Very humbling, some of the prima donna's would do well to take heed that not all universes revolve around them and there are still real people involved in the game. Hats of to the Hatters
  13. Watching the skills of Adebayor skipping past defenders was a joy to behold but his disgraceful studding of Van persce plus the obviuosly pre meditated provaocation of Arsenal fans was disgraceful, had it been at their end i would have said fair enough but sprinting the entire length of the pitch!!!! Hughes body language at the time indicated he was dismayed at the player but post match protectionism of players and the hypocrisy that entails, coupled with the ego's and self importance of these people make me spew.I would expect the authorities to take a strong line and send a message to perpotrators as to what is and isn't acceptable in the "passion and heat of the moment" but in light of Eufa's bottled decision regarding Eduardo i doubt much will be done other than a cursory slap on the wrist Eduardo let of
  14. No doubting he's very good at what he does but just felt it was all a wee bit scripted and I'd seen it all before.I thought in a live show a questions from the audience to his characters would have worked well if he could ad lib, hence the 7/10.Still a good night out :cute01:
  15. Bet ya can spot a few mysterious floaters in the Renfrew baths :cute01:
  16. Good show from Jonathon Watson, albeit pretty predictable,His ability to change character with the raising if an eyebrow or hunch of a shoulder is superb. His observations of Charlie Nicholas was brilliant and he can still wring a lot of laughs out of Frank Macavennie and "the Burdz" 7/10
  17. Well said Oz! What a sad attitude Joe has (if he's serious). I think the clues in the tongue in cheek smiley Joe added,i guess this is why banter disane always work in text
  18. Perth would make more sense Venue will be Broadwood. ICT v Annan Tenner say's it's no :D
  19. Cheers CM, I wasnt seeing Spotify it for what it is. Originally i was thinking in it was like i tunes but with fixed fee's for unlimited access, all the same it's great to have on the PC and am getting to hear loads of stuff i other wise wouldn't have had access to and will probably purchase some in the fullness of time :D
  20. A large part of the media problem is presenters and pundits forget they are on BRITISH national telly when they are waxing lyrical about the latest great Engurlish Football/Rugby/Cricket team exploits. As neebors of bragging windbags it's nice when the inevitable happens and humble pie is dished out. It's generally banter although some get overly bitter about the whole thing
  21. Ah right, light comes on!! Cheers Birdog eh get it now
  22. Have downloaded and am using Spotify on my PC which is ace for finding and listning to all sorts of new stuff but limited to the pretty pishy qaulity of PC speakers. If i subscribe to the 9.99 a month premium service can i download into i-tunes so i can use on my i-pod? seems a bit too good to be true,i'm a bitty confused as it says i-phones and i touch but no mention if it can be downloaded to i pods
  23. Just got a text from an Engurlish mate " There's a 2010 world cup preview on BBC1 tonight except for viewers in Scotland and Wales who will watch "Out of Africa" Quite funny, but for that reason......I'm out :022:
  24. Met Bo Derek and husband John at Disneyland Florida, there's a fotee somewhwere of me giving her a squeeze! more localy, Johnny Briggs (Mike Baldwin of Corrie) asked if he could "borra yer paiper mate" whilst sat at Nairn Dunbar golf club, also 'Enry Cooper at the same variety club doo along with Russ Abott and a bird that used to dance with Pans people :cute01:
  25. I think it was made yeaterday after the games finished, but it was done in Gaelic so may take some time to filter through to the rest of us :021:
