  1. Looking forward to seeing Gil in action. Apart from ICT fans, people and player from his past say hrs a talented asset. Still think we can get a result from this. We are still a team unit.
  2. He beat me to it...looks like I also am holding onto, hopefully not false, hope!
  3. Still nothing about the injury on the official site. Also weird the press and journal have an interview from foran saying they will hold their own against Celtic, but mentions nothing of the injury.
  4. if ever i didnt want a player out, its foran. But guys its a team. We are a confident set of fans nowadays but why shouldnt we be after recent times. We will have Hayes back in the side, and a setup of players that are used to playing with each other. I am not as confident now as i was about going into this game before the news of Foran, but i sure think we can still take something from this game. Id love to see us keep this unbeaten run going! Best of luck boys!
  5. i am interested in finding this out aswell. never had printing done on an ICT top, wouldnt mind it just once.
  6. Good result. And with still having some first team regulars out, mo cause for alarm. Can't wait for the season to begin!!
  7. Dont mind so much about Tokely in all honesty as much as i do about Esson. He was a standout player last season, and can easily do it again. Guy needs security and we offer him 1 year? cant see the reason in this. We NEED a reliable goalkeeper.
  8. I think Butcher liked him too, surely has been keeping an eye out. Will soon find out i suppose. Would also glad to see him back, wasnt our fault we had to let him go. Under Butchers guidance, could turn out to be a cracking player.
  9. I was one of the ones who thought the selling of Imrie was the end of our season. He was coming into the form he can be, and we were going to sell him. I thought this showed we would rather take money for him than use his services to get back up to the SPL. Turns out it was a great decision for all parties involved. Just hope he gets the respect he deserves when we go to New Douglas Park.
  10. Scotty nailed it. Having the confidence he has, its only going to help him on his way. Good luck to Dougie.
  11. Got the 2007-2008 team signed top. But a little sentimental number is getting Ian black and Terry Butcher to sign last seasons away shirt in gold marker after the rangers game where he scored the winning pen. Also got him to sign the Rangers programme aswell from the night. On my wall loud and proud.
  12. Done Hayes!! Well deserved!
  13. Oh god...poor Odi. His confidence must have been shot that day. Didnt look as bad from where i was sitting at the other end. Still won though!! Caley thistle champions Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh!
  14. Good on you starting this thread, i think the exact same thing! Me and my brother were talking about this throughout the last few games...wins everything, his pace is fantastic (dont want to say 'for his age'), and hes always there on that wing when you need him. I also think Dundee bring the best out of him....the last game at Dens and the last game of the season are the best ive seen him play. That tackle on Griffiths at Dens - owned!! Well done Golly!!
  15. No one mentioning the Killie game :P

Cant say im HUGELY surprised, but very welcoming news all the same. Foran is a legend in my eyes, fast becoming my most respected player. As others are saying though, get all the big players....Hayes, Esson, Rooney, extension - hell, the whole solid first team of the last 6 months, signed up and give them a shot at the spl. Great news....all the more for a celebration on Saturday!
  17. What a feeling! Goodbye SFL1, its been great being here, but its time for us to leave to go somewhere we truly belong. SSSS PPPP LLLL!!!

I agree Harry. Also another point could be, and was mentioned alot when we got relegated, was that it had been coming for a while. Hopefully with having gone down, picked ourselves back up, we can fully focus on being an established SPL team. SPL is where its at, and SPL is where we belong.
  19. May 2009.....THAT feeling. one of the worst feelings ive ever had in my life, that hung with me all summer. 1st division campaign then starts, we dont get the best of starts, and i get my head adjusted to the fact its going to be a long haul in the 1st division...unsurprisingly mind you, as no one ever bounces back. Cue the start of 2010, the title race gets interesting, and some entertaining football is played and some cracking results. The most excitement ive had in a league for a while supporting Inverness. Now April 2010, 99% winners of the title, and back to the SPL next year where we belong. Next week at Ayr, hopefully we will get ANOTHER feeling...a feeling the exact opposite of the terrible feeling last year. I cant help but wondering...was THAT feeling last year, worth it for THIS feeling this year?
  20. Falkirk, without a shadow of a doubt!! Aberdeen are as close to avoiding relegation as we are to winning the league.

From the start of the season he has come on leaps and bounds, and id have him in my team. He has been dropped since the last game at Dens, and cant help but think Butcher must have him down as one of the boys that cost us the win, which i think is very harsh. Have full confidence in him and id like to see him stay on to next season.
  22. Go on Rooney...2 more for the golden boot son!
  23. Im in the same boat as ICTPaisley. I play football every wednesday/sunday. Great excuse to get the old tops out.
  24. Interesting post, and i agree with a few points. But had we lost/drew last night with Airdrie, the forum would be full of questions asking why he would do such a thing me thinks.
  25. caleys number 10 i think you will find pal 9 rhymes better. You sing 10 at partick though. Oh remember the chants last year at Partick, Top Six? :P :P :P
