  1. Brewster can't be blamed for taking the job in the first place , he was coming very close to the end of his football career and clubs were not exactly clamouring to employ him as a coach or manager after his abysmal stint at Tannadice. Nor can he be blamed for clinging on to his job now as he's unlikely to get another in football after compounding his disaster in Dundee with an almost equally poor spell back in Inverness. It's not even his fault that he's a poor manager and tactician. I'm sure he does his utmost to be successful but that it just far from good enough. Responsibility lies with the board, they were the ones who opted to re-employ him as a manager after his dire failure at United and they are the ones who see fit to continue to keep him in a job now when his lack of ability is being exposed week in week out and is in danger now of dragging us towards relegation and financial disaster. If the board do not act quickly and decisively then any ill that befalls the club as a result will be their fault and nobody else's.
  2. Just to be even handed on the subject of the massacre of Glencoe, he's not that keen on the Campbells either!
  3. A decent man so it would seem but the sad truth is that so far as his involvement in football is concerned, he ultimately did more harm than good.
  4. We don't need a manager as good and as experienced as Harry Rednap. We just need one better than we've got at present.
  5. Proctor did have a poor game but I can see why you might want a more experienced defender to play at Ibrox rather than Duff.
  6. I've heard similar reports from a number of sources although I have to say that they're all third hand.
  7. Good to see some revenue being raised away from the football side. I suspect that it will be much needed !
  8. To be honest, I can't see many folk buying programmes anywhere but the ground.
  9. He has a contract and a living to make. I don't blame him for waiting until he's pushed but I do think that that time has now arrived.
  10. I sincerly hope you're right.
  11. Reminds me very much of his final days with Dundee United.
  12. You are, of course, literally correct, I should have said that if Brewster remains as manager we are heading for the SFL.
  13. Malkie was Brewster's appointment so if there is a problem then the buck should stop with Brewster.
  14. It's a long time since I've witnessed any defending as bad as that and that includes my Son's under 11 games !
  15. Similar stats to those for Dundee United when Brewster was at their helm. I wonder what the common factor is ?
  16. Surely the most embarassing 45 minutes in the history of the club.
  17. As things stand, we are heading back to the SFL.
  18. I'm sure that Caley D is correct aqnd that Brewster's contract expires at the end of the season. It was widely reported that he'd signed a two year deal when he first came back and surely no one would have been misguided enough to extend it.
  19. I agree it may now be time to give Esson a run.
  20. Chisholm has done a great job at Q.O.S with relatively little resources. A heartbeat away from landing the Scottish Cup last season and strongly challenging for promotion this all at the same time as playing relatively attractive attacking football. I note that their chairman said, when refusing Dundee permission to speak to him, that their attitude might have been different had it been an SPL club.
  21. Time for him to go I fear. He shows no signs of being able to turn things around.
  22. I wouldn't disagree wqith any of that.
  23. Whatever the truth of the matter, Brewster was naive to say what he did.
  24. Both sides can't be being truthful. I know who I tend to believe !
  25. Good move appointingBobby as assistant.
