Smell the hat!
and there was me thinking that my earlier contribution to this thread was quite positive by my standards !

August - Player of the Month
Can't disagree. We need to be in serious discussions with him about a new contract now rather than leaving it until it's too late.

Newly Formed Events Commitee
This has to be a step in the right direction.

Sky Sports Present BRFC 12.00
Sounds like watching ICT in the days of Steve Paterson.

Some things never change....
Three points from Iceland on Wednesday will leave our prospects looking a lot brighter. Anything short of that then our qualifying hopes will indeed be hanging by a thread.

at the game
Dogs running onto football pitches were frequently sources of entertainment in the 60s and 70s. The advent of all seater stadia seems to have put an end to that.
-
BBC Alba
Good news. I tend to watch football with the sound down anyway.

Free Professional Provision
Sounds as though the club at least realise that there is an issue which must be promising.

These rankings are largely meaningless.

Cowie staying?
Thre or even 4 year deals are the way forward rather than the 2 year maximum which seemed to be the norm at the club for years.

Transfers at close of window
We could have mustered ?50,000 to buy Akuko but could not have matched the salary package Aberdeen offered him.

Strange times in football
Aparently Margaret Thatcher is currently on the top of that pile.

Cowie staying?
I wouldn't blame the lad for going if he gets the oportunity to play in front of almost 30,000 fans for four or five times his current salary. If he's determined to go at the end of the season then we should try to cash in on him in January. In the meantime the club should be making every realistic effort to try to get him to extend his contract.

Transfers at close of window
It looks like there were no players available within our budget that the manager considered to be better than those alrady at the club. On that basis, it was sensible not to bring in anyone just for the sake of it.

Strange times in football
As far as Keegan goes I suspect it's only a mater of time.

JUANJO GOES MISSING IN GLASGOW
I've no time for Lennon but have even less for those perpetrating cowardly unprovoked assaults.

Smell the hat!
Very early days yet to be dismissing the prospect of relegation.

CIS Draw
Morton have a great cup record. We will need to have our strongest team out if we are to progress.

Where Have AllThe Fans Gone ?
Maybe it does have something to do with entertainment and success. On a personal level, I was inclined to give the next home game with St Mirren but reports of entertaining football and a successful outcome yesterday have inspired me to change my mind. More of thge same and I might even be tempted to buy a season ticket for the first time in four years.

Falkirk V ICT :matchday thread
Maybe, just maybe, Mr Brewster is beginin g to get the hang of this management malarky.

New Manager for Clach
Half decent indeed !
-
Falkirk V ICT :matchday thread
I've been as critical as anyone of Brewster in the past but it sound as though he got his team selection and tactics spot on yesterday.

That gives Celtic at least a chance of making progress.
