  1. At least give us a clue !

Although we could do with a goalscorer Imrie is not the answer and is much more effectively deployed in midfield especially given how slow, inexperienced and lightweight all of the midfielders brought in over the close season are. Odhiambo looked to have some promise before he got injured last season and might just be the creative spark we need in the forward line when he's fit again.
  3. Go on, put us out of our misery !
  4. I'd be surprised if we take more than 3,000 to this game. Sensible ticket allocation and sensible pricing in my view.
  5. I can't think of any other, must be a trick question !
  6. Now that really would be the nightmare scenario.
  7. Unless he was in breach of contract or had been guilty of something like gross misconduct. Unsavoury as it might be, they would be hard pushed to argue that swearing in the heat of a football match amounted to gross misconduct.

  9. Read the book and find out.... but it's not yours! :) In that case, I'm not buying !
  10. 10,700 or thereabouts.
  11. Can't see it being a sell out. I would imagine Dundee will take about 5,000 and ourselves about half of that.
  12. A poor performance won by a fluked goal. Only Esson and Foran looked the part in my opinion.!
  13. There might just be hope for Scottisdh football after all.
  14. My son just bought it from Tesco Aberdeen for ?25.
  15. While Perth would be the obvious venue for a Dundee v ICT/County final, would it not have to be played at an SFL ground ?
  16. It's far less important than the league, the Scottish Cup or even the CIS Cup but a win against County would be a confidence booster and a place in the final, especially against Dundee, would be a very welcome boost to the coffers.
  17. There is a cash gate. I understand that ticket sales are fairly slow.
  18. A boycott is not the answer.
  19. Looks like relegation this week after several consecutive weeks in the top division unless we can pull a few million points out of the bag today.
  20. Glad I couldn't make it today. No alternative but to go for broke in the second half although I agree with Scotty that there's little hope of a Patersoneque comeback. It might not be too long before serious questions have to be asked about the management team.

  22. I think he'll do well in the first division. Pity it's not with us.
  23. Good result last night? I thought we lost last night, or did I miss something? Good result? What a strange comment. :024: Maybe my expectation is different to yours, young Sir. When we play a team riding high in the SPL and my team is 'finding it's feet' in the SFL, I along with many more ICT supporters, felt it was lamb to the slaughter last night. Instead I had a superb evenings entertainment where my team came back twice and leveled the game over 90 minutes. Our SPL opponents played against 10 men for much of the game and only won on an OG basis. I would suggest that to any fan of ICT, other that your good-self, that this was a spirited performance and indeed a good result in the circumstances!! I have already remarked on this forum on the unrealistic expectations of some of the ICT support and I suppose you have just underlined this. . You don't quite understand AF.... Had this been a two legged affair a 3-2 scoreline away from home might have been interpreted by some as a good result. Sadly it was a cup-tie that had to be settled on the night - the Result was Motherwell won and proceed to the next round of the competition, while we are out of it. How can that be a good result? I've suggested elswhere on the site that our boys put on a great performance last night and were maybe a tad unlucky not to take Motherwell to a penalty shoot out. I was genuinely encouraged by last night's performance, and hope we continue to improve from here - but it was not a good result! It's not often that I'm inclined to agree with Johnboy but elimination from a knock out competition can never be a good result. However, in all the circumstances, it was certainly a good and very heartening performance.
  24. Never so delighted to be proved wrong !
  25. At least we've had a decent run for our money tonight. Can't see us coming back again with 10 men away against an SPL side.
