It's not about the money but.........
more often it's the bizarre 'restroom' you see when you're out And how do you feel about it also being referred to as the "John"?!

Nick Ross signs for Dundee
I don't think we have had any other player who is so neat and tidy in possession. He rarely seems to give the ball away and that was a real asset to a team playing our kind of possession football. Our loss is Dundee's gain, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are up challenging for Europe next season with all the signings they've made.

What positions do we need to recruit?
I suspect he'll be watching ICT v Clach instead!

ICT in Europe
Yeah I saw that when I was looking to see how the draw was being reported over there. There was another (translated) quote from Niculae saying something along the lines that Inverness will have plenty of fight and belief, but that isn't matched by quality. Also saw a newspaper article saying that ICT's squad is valued at £5m, with the most valuable players being Shinnie and Doran, each at £500k. Lazy journalist alert!

Pre-Season 2015
Crikey, last season has just ended and now we've got our first game of the new season in just a few days time! I'd imagine, or at least I'd hope, that we'll see a few trialists in these early games so that we have at least one striker bedded in and a full-ish squad signed in time for Europe.

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
We beat Universitatea Craiova 2-1 in Tuscany, back in July 2007. From this site's match report: The second match in Italy pitted Caley Thistle with a very physical Romanian side who had a player sent off but then brought a sub on to go back up to 11 players (bizarre !). Youngster Garry Wood scored with a header in the 35th minute and Dean McDonald showed some nice skill just after the break to round the keeper and score his second in two games.

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
Just looking at a map, it struck me that an alternative option for someone looking to make a summer holiday (of sorts!) out of this would be to go to a Black Sea resort like Sunny Beach (about £500 for a week all inclusive from Glasgow) and then hire a car for a day or two (4 hour drive to Giurgiu). Having said that, I wouldn't fancy driving in a place like Bulgaria where horse and cart is still a recognised mode of transport.

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
Oops... Have a look at Giurgiu on GSV and tell me if you can see anything resembling a shopping centre or even a bar. I get the impression that nobody goes to Giurgiu unless they have a compelling reason to. Hopefully the air quality has improved since the communist era even if the architecture hasn't. I'm pretty sure ICT will be based in or around Bucharest.

Nat Wedderburn
I noticed whilst googling this new chap, that the signing was actually announced yesterday by someone posting on the (pretty dormant) Caley Jags Mad website!

I totally agree, but comfort myself with the fact that the arrival of John Hughes, sacked by Hartlepool et all, was also truly underwhelming!

The big Europa adventure thread
Whilst I understand your concerns on that front, I'm pretty sure Rangers will have a meaningless midweek friendly that will require his full attention.

Sorry this doesn't look right
Although he will perhaps admit that his opening line could have been better.....!

Sorry this doesn't look right
I agree with that point in isolation, but let's do the maths here: (3rd in league + 1st in Scottish Cup) > (2nd in league + knocked out of Cup at first hurdle)

Can't concentrate at work....
That pic makes me recall exactly what was going through my mind then: Is he gonna get to it first? I think he's gonna get to it first! He is gonna get to it first! He's got to it first! Yeeeeeeesssssssss!

Any news on Watkins?
Ach, he was rubbish anyway. I jest of course, and he will always be part of ICT history for his contribution to our 2 recent games at Hampden. BUT, the history books really ought to be telling how he blew our chance of getting a late winner v Falkirk when instead of playing Vincent in for an easy finish, he made the wrong decision and was greedy, putting in a really lame shot instead. Not only had it no power, it was also going wide. What a wasted opportunity that was.....

Goalscorers 14/15
Just had a look at the final standings: 10 Mckay (left) 9 Watkins (leaving) 8 Tansey 6 Ofere (possibly leaving) 6 Doran 4 Meekings 4 Christie 3 Warren 3 Ross (possibly leaving) 3 Shinnie 3 Williams 2 Vincent (possibly leaving) 1 Devine 1 Raven A few observations: Good contribution from Tansey, helped by role as penalty taker Not on the list is Draper, with 37 appearances but no goals. For all his talent, it's a little bit surprising that Christie is barely more prolific than our defenders! At the bottom of the list, Vincent, Devine and Raven have 4 goals between them - 3 of those were the winning goals in the Cup QF, Semi and Final!

Inverness CT -V- Falkirk (Cup Final)
I'm just thinking back to "that feeling" that I'm sure most of us experienced between 87 and 96 minutes. It's a weird cocktail of tension, excitement, happiness, agony, nerves and sheer disbelief. The kind of feeling you just don't get in any other aspect of life. It's actually pretty well summed up by this:
-
What positions do we need to recruit?
A keeper just needs to be loaned in until Brill is ready.

Cup Final Gallery
Based on that video, some people may draw the conclusion that these so called professional athletes had perhaps indulged in a little bit of alcohol. The club's lawyers have asked me to set the record straight. The players had indulged in a lot of alcohol.
