  1. Probably when they fiddled the half-time draw!
  2. Agreed, but shouldn't we be thrashing Qatar U20s?
  3. Not being much of an asparagus eater, I only recently made the connection that whenever I eat anything containing it (or have asparagus soup), my pee delelops a bit of a sulphurous smell. I did some investigation and it turns out to be a recognised scientific phenomenon, caused by a chemical reaction. Apparently it happens to everyone. It used to be believed that only a proportion of people experienced it, but after further research (probably by some Institute of Asaparagus P1ss Studies) they discovered that it actually happens to us all, but not everyone's nose can detect the chemical in question. So there you go. Anybody else got any interesting tales of bodily functions?
  4. If we don't get that particular Romanian it's far more likely that we'd go for for his legendary compatriot Vlad Tepes rather than any of the players mentioned above. An experienced captain, doesn't take any prisoners, and prolific in attack. Sounds exactly what we need.

    ICT going Green

    Bajram Fetai

He had plenty of pace, but other than that didn't make much of an impression and was mainly used as a sub. Went back to Rangers who released him shortly afterwards.
  7. Fully deserves a shot at the big time, hope he does well.
  8. The first test tomorrow is to see if he makes it to the stadium rather than "Inverness Medical"......

    New Players

Rangers plundered the Austrian league and the best they could find was Sebo!
  10. Rod Stewart had a great rock voice, it's just a shame that he lost his way and wasted his talent on p1shy pop music.

    wat a croc!!

It is absolutely true that geography is a factor in the minds of players. We have lost actual players and missed out on numerous signing targets (most recently Buchanan) who have stated it as a key factor. It's not so much an issue for Aberdeen because a) It's a shorter journey to the central belt, on a much better road. b) More significantly they pay much higher wages, high enough for players to accept being away from their family and friends.
  12. Why, are the seats far from the pitch?! :016:
  13. I also suspect it's a Scot looking to return, given the description of the target as "English based" rather than "English".
  14. My only recollection of Scarborough was when they first got into the league (old Div 4). In their first home match, some (away?) fans were showing off, jumping around on the corrugated iron roof of the terracing. What happened next is predictable, and nearly got them a Darwin award.
  15. McIntyre's total of 4 goals in the last 2 seasons would suggest that, like McSwegan, his goalscoring days are well behind him. I'm fairly sure our manager knows this and is aiming higher. Although there is the nagging doubt that, just like before, if we can't find anybody decent before the window shuts.....
  16. Where is he now? He went to Alloa after us, but I don't think he made the grade there either.
  17. Barry Wilson, for both his spells with us.
  18. I didn't see any of our first few seasons, but based on the last 10, candidates are : Andrew Allan Wayne Addicoat Rory McAllister But my overall prize for the worst player goes to one who racked up a baffling number of appearances......Darran Thompson. Whenever he was on the pitch, it was worse than going down to 10 men.
  19. Actually we've already been told it'll have to be born in Dundee, poor wee thing. It has crossed my mind that when we get near the due date, we should go for a wee drive up the A9. Then keep driving round Inverness and eating hot curries until it makes an appearance!

    Robson

Heard tonight that as was rumoured a while back, Robson is off back to Rangers.
  21. That'll help Rory's confidence :007:
  22. Has everyone forgotten Charlie Christie?!
  23. Cheers guys! The subject of football allegiance has already been raised. My preferences for it, in order, are : 1) My team - ICT 2) Local team - St Johnstone 3) Wife's team - Dundee Utd Don't mind too much just so long as it's not the Old Firm!
  24. At the risk of giving too much detail, conception took place after celebrating Scotland's last minute winner v Georgia. (Before anyone gets the wrong idea, we weren't actually at Hampden!)
  25. Just wanted to inform those that know me through this website that it seems unlikely that I will be allowed out to attend whatever game the fixture list schedules for December 16th. Myself and the missus are expecting a "special delivery" that day! :crazy07: :crazy07: :crazy07:
