  1. Good strike - presumably the "you fat b4stard" chants are aimed at Golly? After returning from injury he was half the player he used to be, yet he was also double the player he had been.
  2. I noticed on my ballot paper that for this election the SNP have apparently changed their party name to "Alex Salmond for First Minister!" Never seen anything like that before, but I suppose the rules must allow them to put anything they want in the field next to the candidate's name.
  3. There always the take-away called Abrakebabra. And a clothes ironing service called Crease Lightening!
  4. The Paisley carthorses were a very poor footballing side tonight. Strategy comprised hoofing it high up the park, and taking it in turns to foul Hamill. Give me Dunfermline any day.

    Robson

They are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, if you measure it by the amount of compensation they pay to bring in and then get rid of dud managers.
  6. It's an old gag used for players who fall to pieces in the box!
  7. May I suggest that this is the only time the First Division trophy will be seen at Victoria park :003:
  8. I'm reluctant to draw attention to a personal matter, but from a footballing point of view it is perhaps worth pointing out that Donald Park was in charge of the team today. Charlie did not travel due the death of a close family member.
  9. Presumably they will go part time now.
  10. Just back from game. Lucky to be just 1 down at HT. Despite our 4-5-1 we had little presence in midfield, and Bayne was always isolated upfront. Much better performance in second half - Hart and Pattie pushing forward more to support attacks. Deserved equaliser - free kick whipped in by Hart, powerfully headed down and in by Bayne. We looked the more likely to grab a winner, but a point was satisfactory in a game where both sides missed their playmakers. Poor support for both sides, very much an end of season game. Hart's constant driving forward with the ball was good but his final pass or cross always ended up as a goal kick. Caff did fine at RB, better than when I've seen him there before. Dods and Munro solid as ever. Fraser had a couple of let offs in the first half when Utd heads beat him to balls that he came for, but also made a couple of good saves. Black looked good for the last 10 mins. BTW I've watched McCracken a few times since he was told he's being released this summer, and once again he looked a very solid SPL defender who might be a useful addition to our squad.
  11. Dilemma : been offered free use of a season ticket next to wife in East Stand, or pay £21 to be with ICt fans? :024:
  12. First one Forfar?
  13. Me and the missus, in separate stands as usual.
  14. Snap! But an accountant by day.
  15. Hartley has the attributes required to take over as greeting faced cheating nyaff.
  16. If (and it's a big if) St Mirren can play like they did last night, they'll be the team to win all its remaining games. I'm just glad we are already safe, as the bottom teams seem to be finding form.
  17. James has had a great season with Saints, but has just signed a 3 year extension.

    Rory

I'd be very happy to see him punted by ICT and a success at Huntly.
  19. What have Dargo and roscoe23 got in common? Neither are likely to feature on this website next season.....

  21. I've certainly had a few "Uncomfortably Numb" moments at TCS.
  22. Between tickets, merchandise and refreshments this concert is expected to rake in over a million. A friend in the entertainments business believes ICT's cut to be around 10% Surely all we are doing is renting out our stadium for a day or two, the going rate for which is probably about £25,000. The agents and promoters of the concert will be getting a cut of the revenue, but I wouldn't expect us to. If we do, that's a bonus!
  23. Shearer, Brewster and Robertson were probably bigger names.
  24. Good result, but I'm disappointed that youngsters like Zander haven't been given a run out.
  25. It was off the top of his head actually! So not strictly a shot, but a great goal all the same.
