  1. Inverness Caley Thistle Concert Company Ltd is a separate legal entity and in its last filed records was owned by Dalgarno and Morrison.
  2. But the new company is not ICTFC, is it. Given that ICT didn’t have much money to start with, a £1m loss would have put the club into administration but that doesn’t seem to have happened.
  3. You thinking of having a dram tonight by any chance?!
  4. It’s also 3 teams that I can recall that fielded ineligible players in this tournament, with Hibs, Elgin and Stranraer getting results overturned and financial penalties. There must be dozens of examples of ineligible players since ICT were formed but as far as I can recall it’s not a mistake we have ever made, is that the case?
  5. Yes, the need for a time machine to take you back about 50 years makes it more challenging than most other away days!
  6. Kirk Broadfoot has signed for Broomhill (now rebranded as Open Goal Broomhill, and replacing Clyde as the tenants of Broadwood). Intersting move, I expected him to be playing at a higher level than that.
  7. He just stopped and sat down, indicating straight away to the bench and physio that he was finished. Looked to me to be something like a thigh muscle strain, physio certainly seemed to be focusing his attention above the knee.
  8. Bribed my girls to come along yesterday, younger one said “Why is your goalkeeper, like, 60?”
  9. Thought the ref missed an awful lot by the way, for both sides. How on earth did Carson not get a yellow for his deliberate handball? Not sure what he was thinking, palming away a high ball that was sailing out for a throw in a few yards behind him?
  10. Yeah Boyd exceeded my expectations. Was playing left midfield (until he briefly replaced Doran as the 10) and certainly worked hard, got stuck in and was tidy enough with the ball, even if he isn’t an out and out winger in the traditional sense.
  11. Good effort. I recognise the efforts put in by a small number of individuals and have joined this week. I hope others do too.
  12. We were slightly better than a solid but unspectacular side, certainly in terms of possession. But it was Kelty who actually had most of the good chances, especially in the early stages of the 2nd half, and they really should have been in front but thanks to some good saves and poor finishing it stayed level. As the 2nd half progressed we look far more likely to score, Billy came closest with the glancing header which came back off the post, and in the last minute I was mightily relieved to see no flag raised as Oakley was played through on goal, after we had been caught offside countless times during the match. Good result in the end, a win’s a win, but we are certainly not firing on all cylinders yet going forward with a distinct lack of good final ball or shot.
  13. I’d love to be able to share your optimism on that. We’ve lost some of last season’s best players - Broadfoot, Chalmers and McAlear, as well as Sutherland and Walsh looking unavailable for most of the season. We’ve replaced them with largely unknown, untested and inexperienced players. I very much hope it all works out and the team gels into a good unit, but our best chance is perhaps that the overall standard of this league continues to get deteriorate.
  14. Although I still maintain that Watkins should have passed!
  15. No ICT fan will ever tire of seeing the winning goal.
  16. We were 3-0 up after 11 minutes, and 5-1 up at HT. Saints clearly didn’t start well and maybe didn’t have the right prematch preparation, with over an hour stuck in traffic/detour off the A9 leading to late kick off.
  17. He was out of contract so no fee.
  18. The poor attendance confirms why the CEO, when asked by TWS podcast if the gigs would generate funds for the club, could only say “potentially”. In other words, more tickets needed to be sold.
  19. They were poor at the Queen’s Jubilee gig last month, which would not have helped drive sales.
  20. Jamie McCart has left St Johnstone and signed for Rotherham Utd.
  21. PSF? Even googled it, found dozens of options but none made sense!
  22. Zak Delaney, George Oakley and A.N. Other?
  23. Nice easy start and good to be scoring goals, but we need competitive matches. I hope and expect that Brora will be much tougher opponents.
  24. I took ‘bespoke’ to mean it is not just from the manufacturer’s catalogue of standard shirt designs, implying it’s been customised in some way at our request (and not just for the badge).
  25. It’s a belter.
