  1. Excellent response by IHE. Last season in comparison to other seasons we must have raked it in. The club should be a bit more open and willing to share some information with their shareholders and members . Our season ticket sales must be up on last season, or are they? Do we have any additional revenue from shirt sales in May and other club products? Do we benefit from Ladbrokes money? Not replacing Billy has been a massive error, and where did that money go? No one is suggesting that there is a biscuit tin mentality but I reckon that season ticket holders and shareholders should be told a little more about the day to day running costs, wages, expenses etc.
  2. Worth noting the commitment of Liam Polworth who less than 24 hours after the kick off in Europe turned out for an ICT team who played Inverness City last night in a pre season friendly. Liam shows a genuine professional attitude and I sincerley hope that he gets his chance this season. Don't know if anyone else from our first team squad played but my spy tells me that Liam was sheer class and head and shoulders above everyone else on the park. Well done Liam.
  3. Regardless of how good Latapy may or may not be his timing is atrocious just one week before our Euro debut. He had plenty of time after the Cup Final to contemplate this and quit. Like other posters i think this stinks. Good luck to him but I ain't shedding any tears. Time to get Foran more involved.
  4. Thanks CaleyD. Still surprised that Yogi has only tumbled to the fact that new players don' t just appear in Inverness like magic. This assumes that the press are reporting the transfer situation accurately.
  5. Very surpised to read in the press this weekend that Yogi is dismayed at our transfer policy. He manages the club and we no longer have a Director of Football on board. Surely Yogi knew that we were going to lose Watkins, Ofere, Shinnie and Ross, everyone else in Inverness knew! Once again we will find ourselves scrapping around looking for bargains days before the season starts. Who is responsible for ICTs succession planning?
  6. Good news in my opinion if we bring back match day programmes. I asked the question a year ago if we were considering this and also if we were making money on the monthly ones. Got a wee bit of a pasting at the time for daring to ask the question? I appreciate that this may be a lot of extra work for the editors but think we will sell a larger volume. Depending on the price we should take more cash in.
  7. Time will tell when we can judge the performance of Nick's replacement. He will be replaced won't he?
  8. For goodness sake why can't our club just make up a press release announcing how many tickets we have sold. This information should be shared with the fans and shareholders. In fact as a shareholder I think I have a right to know.
  9. OMG, could be 5 a side by half time then.
  10. Ticket sales may be a 'distraction' for Charlie Bannerman but they are of interest to many other fans. Good ticket sales builds interest and can produce a snowball effect. Good on Falkirk for releasing their numbers today, I wish we were not so anal about releasing sales figures.
  11. This farce has really made me consider whether I want to continue supporting a sport that I have loved and followed for nigh on 60 years.
  12. A great boost for next week, we have a good chance. Celtic will be without GMS and Armstrong I believe? Probably Commons will start. Can't get over how card happy one of our so called top refs was. Shinnie MOM, again, he will be a huge miss.
  13. Shinnie total class. Missed Williams. I would like to see Brill back v Aberdeen, Ryans distribution is poor. Too much favving about at the back hence we dont get the ball upfield nearly fast enough. Decent crowd, if we take 3000 to Glasgow I'll be happy.
  14. Couldn't care less about the ticket allocation as long as we get a sufficient number AND a good location. If i recall correctly we were near the centre line v Dundee and stuck in a corner v Dunfermline. Give Celtic 40,000 tickets and it will make our victory all the sweeter.
  15. That's sad news about Pele. He will always be a massive hero here in Inverness. Get him on the coaching staff.
  16. Great result considering Raith had 10 men behind the ball all game. Williams and Shinnie our best players. Loved Eason's 'spoof' save near the end, he had nothing to do all night. Decent crowd. Hope we get the Saturday semi and not the Sunday one. Surely common sense will prevail given the distance we have to travel.
  17. Is it correct that Shinnie and Draper are just one booking from missing the Semi, if we were to make it?
  18. Can't understand why in these enlightened days we cannot have some sort of inflatable tent type protection thingy put over the pitch. Massively disappointing. Forecast was known at least 48 hours ago.
  19. Not too bad a result considering we were 4 players short, who if fit may all have started.
  20. I thought Williams had a very good game, everyone else was average. County subs made a real difference. Massive error by Yogi to play Tansey out wide for most of the game, missed him in mid field and he ain't no winger.
  21. Just watched BBC News. No mention at all about the possible transfer of one of Scotland's most prolific scorers over the past 3 years! An absolute disgrace in my opinion.
  22. Best wishes to Shinnie he has been a great servant for us and we will miss him. Nobody could deny that he is due bigger wages. BUT.........I would play him in the Under 20s from now on. He could pass on some valuable experience to the youngsters and serve the club well in that way. It's not fair for either party to keep playing Graeme. Imagine the scenario....we come to the last day of the season, it's us or the sheep for third place. Shinnie has an open goal, his options are a) he slams the ball into the back of the net and ICT take the Euro place, He soaks up the Inverness applause and drives down to Aberdeen where is treated appallingly by the Dons for the next 3 years..................... or b) he lofts it over the bar and his new club take the Euro place. Guess which option he chooses?
  23. Very disappointed. We seem to have abandoned our passing game in favour of the big lump for the first 30 minutes. We were outclassed in mid field. Doran very poor and should have been hooked after an hour. Also we need to get street wise, Aberdeen players go to ground at every opportunity, you just need to look at them and down they go. Flog Shinnie in January and buy a big strapping striker to help out Billy and rough up defences.
