  1. Ach, it clashes with the Kilt Walk.
  2. Hmm. So Chuckles Le Vert turns up at Midden Park and then a week later they announce that they will be voting No.
  3. Yes of course we can. Thought he was playing really deep last night protecting the two young defenders. He is needed for his leadership alone as when he is missing there is none. Unfair to single him out in my opinion on a night when most if not all of the team performed below par. Just one of those days and we should just move on. He had a number of poor passes last night, but I think it's a bit unfair to say 'His passing was appalling once again'. He's been one of our best players this season, and more often his passing is excellent in games. I thought he had a great game the week before against Hibs for example.
  4. Jailender forgets this isn‘t the Fizzy Pop League. It doesn‘t work like that.
  5. Doing my very own SPL calculator formula I have worked out the most logical matches. Assuming Kilmarnock are the 6th team to join top 6... ICT are due to play 1 home, 4 away. Home: Well. Away: County, Killie, Perth, Celtic County are also due to play 1 home, 4 away. Home: ICT. Away: Killie, Perth, Celtic, Well Killie are due to play 4 home, 1 away. Home: ICT, County, Perth, Celtic. Away: Well Perth are due to play: 3 home, 2 away Home: ICT, County, Well. Away, Kille, Celtic Motherwell are due to play: 2 home, 3 away Home: County, Killie. Away: Perth, Celtic, ICT Celtic are due to play: 4 home, 1 away Home: County, ICT, Perth, Well. Away: Killie teams with imbalance of fixtures are: ICT, County, Celtic, Kilmarnock ICT and County have too many away games. Killie and Celtic have too many home games. Perth and Well do not need to change. So this means that (logically)to give ICT and County the 1 home game they need, there's 2 teams that can swap their fixtures. Killie and Celtic. Therefore, Celtic and Killie have to go to Sneck and Dingwall (it doesn't matter who goes where). This means all teams have either 3 home and 2 away or 2 home and 3 away. Now, ICT and County would then have 2 home and 3 away. They cannot play home games on the same day, so it may be a case of one team having fixtures of A,H,A,H,A and the other having something like A,A,H,A,H. Of course if they timetables to have a Saturday / Sunday fixture this wouldn't be an issue but that is up to the TV companies after the fixtures are made. I tried to calculate the fixtures using all the variables I could think of. But with this set of teams in the top 6, 1 team could get screwed with 3 away games on the trot. I got as far as 4 teams and then it all went to pot each time. I think this could be the most difficult to predict fixture list.
  6. Yet to sort out the finer details (especially since we may not even be going to / from Dingwall), However there are quite a few on the route. The Five Sisters of Kintail are in our way - three of which are Munros, which have to be climbed.
  7. If it pans out like that then surely it would be the shortest walk in history of the Highland Marchers - Inverness to Dungwall. Unless they go via Wester Ross. Actually, we will go via Wester Ross if we get Dingwall. Already done the route planning just in case a few months back. Out to Beauly, then follow the Highland Cross route to Kintail, keep going to Kyle. (It would be rude not to spend the night in Skye as well) double back over the bridge, head north up towards Kishorn then East through Wester and Easter Ross down into Dingwall!
  8. Oh well! All irrelevant now! Perth have equalised.
  9. One other scenario is all of that happens but we draw with St Johnstone (rather than losing). In which case they move onto same points as County. As things stand, St J have 1 less goal difference and County have scored more goals. So if we all the other results occur and we draw with St J, County would need to lose by 2 or more goals to Hearts.
  10. A tartan top would be a great marketing idea. It would have to match the MacRae tartan for me to buy it though ;)
  11. Is he off for pints with Marvin in Fannies?
  12. Heading through with the usual Glasgow based fans. We're going to go for a couple of pints in the Grassmarket before heading to the Iona.
  13. I was at the Under 21s game in Paisley last night and it was much more enjoyable than watching the first team! A 3-0 win against Luxemberg and some great build up play from the team.

Sorry Scotty but we've played Celtic only once at Parkhead. the 1-0 win. We've been humped twice at home by them. So it will be more likely we will be playing Celtic away from home.

Does that mean Top Six will change his name to Top Eight Next Year?
  16. What a dire game. I didn't see the foul as I was at the other end of the stadium. None of us could understand it at the time. I didn't see the Scotland goal either as I was too busy chatting lol.

It's a pain in the erse for us Highland Marchers. We don't know where we're going!
  18. Taken from the Daily Record article: “They have won 2-1 and they are jumping around with guys flinging their arms in the air, which is great, but it’s another major decision that’s affected our prospects." Shocking actions, celebrating a win.
  19. Tyrone Smith ‏@TyroneSTV #inverness boss Terry Butcher has been served with a notice of complaint by the SFA for breaking the dugout at Dens Park last week. I blame all the people moaning about it on here!
  20. Pleasing. Time for a party!
  21. Of all the people that seem the most upset about a smashed dugout at Dens, it appears to be a few ICT fans.
  22. Tickets can be bought at the stadium (there will be plenty). The Innes is very good and quite a few ICT fans go there. I'll be there pre-match. Go to www.thetrainline.com for tickets. Instead of buying a ticket from Edinburgh - Inverness. Buy a ticket for Edinburgh - Perth. Perh - Inverness. Usually works out around a tenner cheaper - I don't know why!!!
  23. Hart got 2 goals in the end last night. Brora 5-0 Wick.
