  1. Another 22 miles from the Marchers today. At Kintail now. 62 miles in total so far. All off road today through snow, sleet, rain and hail.
  2. Finished at the start of Loch Affric today. 40 miles done since the game yesterday. Onwards.
  3. Highland March XI. 150 miles. One day to go!

  4. Thanks Steve! We will keep everyone updated on the weeks walk!
  5. I don‘t like Doncasters fringe.
  6. To be fair to Ms Smith, the last time football and the church mixed, the stewards had a fit!
  7. ‘She raised concerns of drunken fans disrupting Church congregations‘ Such a shame. I was looking forward to a few pints in the Mallard before steaming into the nearest Church.
  8. John McGlynn has to be the worst dressed manager this year. Tight leggings with a shirt and tie!
  9. Some ICT fans (myself included) were applauding Chris Hogg (who in return gave the customary applaud back to the fans) which then resulted in more fans applauding him. It just happened to be when Tade was coming off. In saying that, Tade did get applause from some main stand folk at the last home game.
  10. Rangers unfairly treated!? Eh? The club were liquidated and relaunched as a Newco, (under Sevco 5088). The SFA bent the rules to allow them to go straight into Division 3 (even after Spartans had already applied). Sevco are very lucky that they are allowed to compete in the Scottish football set up at all. Have you seen the latest from Sevco HQ btw?!
  11. Agent N taking the death of Rangers well then.
  12. Just because they wave union flags, does not make them bigots, if you don't like the flag of this country go and live somewhere else, I would suggest you are the bigot. Today at Parkhead we were entertained by a number of choruses of Paddy McCourt's Fenian army, because we live in a country where people fought and died, under the flag that you consider bigoted, they are entitled to do that. Did I miss your post condemning the waving of the Irish flag and starry plough after the last time Celtic visited Inverness?. ..... Guess you weren't too disappointed in todays result! The SPL hasn't been a breath of fresh air this season, ICT have had a magnificent season, but we all knew that Dundee were up against it and would get relegated and Celtic would win it. I would suggest the only fresh air is between your ears!
  13. I remember beating them 6-0 at Broadwood with Gardner Spiers in charge of Clyde. I think we were Division 2 at the time.
  14. Well yet again Celtic away didn't fail to deliver. Rubbish result but was always going to be a difficult ask to get anything today. I thought in the first half we were strong and tactically Terry and Mo got it spot on. In the second half however, we struggled and Celtic were deserved winners. A handful of us waited to watch the Celtic lap of honour / Neil Lennon speech. Back in the LRT post match it seemed we were noticed as we got a free round of drinks as a thanks. It wasn't our day however. Onwards to Perth!
  15. THEChucklesLeVert ‏ @ChucklesLeVert Statement from Chuckles: " Whilst strenuously denying any wrong doing, I realise that not even the Teds believe that any more, so I'm off."
  16. Struggling to find early openings in East end pubs. Still to figure out if the LRT is opening early, will post on here once I know. They don't answer their phone and it's not the type of pub to have a website lol.
  17. Haven't seen any U20 games. For the U20 regular supporters, are there any players in there that you reckon could make the step up in the summer? (Other than U20 players who already sit on the first team bench each week).
  18. I'd be delighted with a wee trip to Ireland. But if we qualify and we get Uzbekistan or somewhere obscure then I won't be complaining either!
  19. The club formerly known as Rangers has feck all to do with this!
  20. I was quite surprised when I read that as well. Reconstruction and much needed re-distribution of finances were abandoned because members of staff / fans at a certain football club were 'confused'!!! Most people from every other club understood what the set up would have been. It's also strange that all 12 SPL Chairmen (including County and Midden) agreed to this new set up a few months ago when it was first publicly proposed by the SPL. All 12 agreed on the structure / rules and went back to their clubs. Then at the last minute, County were seemingly 'confused' about the set up and Midden wanted to change various parts of the voting structure. Judging by some of the comments in the press, most chairmen were not happy with 100% of what was on offer. However, after months of planning and negotiating with various compromises to suit the desire of various clubs, for Midden to come in at the last minute with new demands is ridiculous. Some compromise was given but they wanted it all. How can clubs go forward if various Chairmen agree to compromises but 1 club won't (and another club are confused?!). The fans have said they don't want the SPL and the league structure in it's current format. The re-distribution of money would have helped the SFL clubs like Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton. Overall Scottish football would have been healthier. Still with major problems and still not a 'perfect' league, but a heck of a lot better than what we've got now. I can't understand how Midden would prefer the current situation!? If they wanted various changes, they would have got at least some of it with the new structure. Why would they then vote to get no changes whatsoever?! I hope that they get relegated next season and after 22 games are adrift by a record number of points for the 12th team!
