  1. Again, during 2019, I kept my spreadsheets of ex ICT goal scorers going (perhaps not quite as carefully as I once did!). Nevertheless, I found 74 scores achieving 450 goals amongst them. The stand out clearly is Nat Austin who scored 40 in 25 games in 5 months, for Kelty Hearts. Amazing, even at that level. Here is my list :- 40 goals N Austin (Kelty Hearts) 28 " A MacRae ( 17, Forres : 11, Brora R) 24 " S Sutherland (22, Elgin : 2, Peterhead) 22 " S Boden (19, Chesterfield : 3, Gateshead) 21 " R Christie ( 20, Celtic : 1, Scotland) 20 " S Soane ( Forres) 19 " L Doumbouya (Trat ) 15 " D Gillespie ( Brora R) 13 " G Wood ( Formantine) 12 " T Agdestein ( Aalesund), A Sutherland ( Rothes), D Ebbe ( TNS) 11 " A Rooney ( Salford), A MacAskill ( Buckie) 10 " J Baird ( 9, Forfar : 1 Raith), P Roberts ( 8, Dartford : 2 Hayes) 09 " R McAllister (Peterhead), T Sho-Silva ( 5, Halifax : 3, Margate) 08 " Z Elbouzedi ( 6, Waterford : 2, Ireland U21), B Mckay (Ross Co), G Oakley ( Hamilton), F Morais ( 5, Crawley : 3, Oldham) 06 " A MacDonald ( Brora R), H Anier ( 5, Suwon FC : 1, Estonia) 05 " C Allen ( Glentoran), B Greenhalgh ( Dartford), C Dingwall ( 4, Inverurie : 1, Formantine) D Park ( 4, Cove : 1, Formantine), A Greig ( Formantine) 04 " A Fisher ( 3, Exeter : 1, Yeovil), C Bell ( 3, Preston Lions : 1, South Shields), G Morrison ( Brora R) 03 " J Roberts ( Ipswich), I Sekajja ( 2, Gosport : 1, Maidenhead), J Chalmers ( Ross Co), M Finnis ( Clach) J Wilson ( Rothes), A Evans ( Longford ), J Oswell ( Wrexham), G Shinnie ( 2, Aberdeen : 1, Derby) 02 " N Ross ( El Paso Loco), D Proctor ( E. Happy New Year
  2. A good win. Consolidates 2nd place. tbh I think that is the best we can expect this season, and we will have to maintain consistency to achieve that. But at least it is possible. So, keep up the good work lads.
  3. That's what I think too. Presumably better for us too, assuming there really is a sell on clause.
  4. Well, after scoring in both the Semi and the Final, my phone hasn't stopped ringing. Or so I'm told, as my hearing is not as good as it used to be. My dilemma is, should I take up John Robertson's offer, or await an offer from the premiership? English that is, as I can't leave my base here in Berkshire, as the nurses are so good. In fact after I have a little snooze, I'll be pushed around the grounds in my bath chair by one of them. Hold on, is that my phone again, or just my tinnitus? Happy Xmas, or was that last week?
  5. Just woken up. Don't know if it was all just a dream. But, scoring the winner in the semi-final. I'll take that. Roll on the final, I'll try to stay awake for it.
  6. Yes, very satisfactory. Up to second, at least for a while. Plus, 3 clean sheets in a row. Much better. Carry on the good work lads.
  7. I'll take that. Well done to all concerned.
  8. Thanks for p[enalty updates IHE. Another convincing win!!!
  9. Frankly I think we saw the best of Storey when he was with us last time. He certainly didn't set the heather alight with Aberdeen or Partick. I was surprised we took him back.
  10. Also today, Alex Fisher scored his first for Exeter. And Callum Dingwall scored for Inverurie
  11. I really take notice when long standing and respected supporters like Yngie and Rig are posting as they have today. Bad times indeed, and maybe worse to come. The top play off positions are now seriously in doubt, and the ever present threat of part time football for us is a real possibility. Oh for the glory days of 2015. They seem like an eternity ago now.
  12. Wow, top of the league if nothing changes. Come on lads, get another one to be sure.
  13. .... and scored 3 goals for them so far in October!
  14. Wouldn't mind a trip to Wrexham for the semi-final tbh. But, of course, first we must beat Clyde. Should be winnable as long as we don't underestimate them.
  15. I agree with all the positives that have been expressed in this thread. Greg was great for us, especially in his second spell. He contributed greatly to our cup winning team and, as far as I can tell, was always a good ambassador for ICT, on and off the field. Good luck to him in whatever he does next. We could do with one or two of his ilk these days.
  16. Whilst I agree with the majority of your post I think this last couple of sentences are a bit harsh. Blaming it all on the board is too easy. The basic problem is the apathy of the 'support' from the Inverness area. Ok, there are probably things the Board might have been able to do to improve things, but if the majority of the potential fanbase would rather jump on buses every week to support the ugly sisters, the Board are on a hiding to nothing.
  17. RIP Dave. I remember you well with both Caley and Thistle, but not with Clach. Must have been after I left Inverness.
  18. Very pleased with another, fairly comfortable 3 points. Pity Dundee Utd got those 2 last minute goals in their match. Very disappointing crowd. Let us keep this good run going and see how things stand in a few weeks. I'm getting more optimistic every week.
  19. Yes, he left Elgin in the summer. I think he has scored 5 goals since moving to Rothes. Probably found his level I think.
  20. Just for starters :- Reguero Bulvitus Golobart Miadjuks Hastings Juanjo Morais Mutumbo Kink Ofere Doumbouya
  21. Another hat-trick for Nat Austin yesterday. I make that 20 in 10 games for Kelty Hearts. Now that is impressive, at any level of football.
  22. Well, sounds as though we stole that. Still, I'll take that all day long. Still well in touch with the top of the table. Well done lads.
  23. Being selfish, a nice little hour and a half drive up to Solihull would suit me. It would feel like a home game. Otherwise any of the Irish or Welsh teams would be an interesting tie, home or away.
  24. Whilst I agree that the club is being seen to be taking some action, because of a small minority of unruly visiting 'away fans', surely, especially for the probable, even fewer number, who will travel north for this next 'minor' cup game, just sticking them in a far corner of the uncovered main stand would have been enough. Then we could all have prayed to the rain Gods!! Opening the South stand for a handful of visiting fans does not make economical sense.
  25. I presume he might have. He has now scored 17 goals for them since signing in mid July. Pity he didn't do that with us!
