  1. I see Tade got one last night for St J. How many is that this season, 2 or 3? Really missed him haven't we?
  2. Bristol Rovers have had a torrid time of late, and can't seem to find the right manager to motivate them to get out of trouble. They're in danger of falling out of the EFL. I feel sorry for our fellow poster, Dmacca, whose home team it is. Let's hope for a brighter second half of the season for them.
  3. He hasn't. He was in the NI squad, and I am sure that would rule him out of now being selected for England.
  4. I can't really see how we can count Bill McKay as English, seeing he has just represented Northern Ireland at senior level.
  5. Just watched the first 10 mins on Alba. The first two goals were shockers. Meekings a bit unlucky mind. Graham Shinnie well at fault for second. He had plenty time either to clear the ball or get it back to Reguero. We were pretty much ripped apart for third, although Skacel was left unmarked before he scored. Still, as I said before, and plenty others besides, a great fightback.
  6. Finding the live stream a few minutes after kick off, I couldn't believe the 0-3 scoreline in such a short period of time. I'm just about to watch Alba to see how bad these goals were. But, no matter how I felt, how must the players have been feeling? It is an absolute credit to them that they didn't crumble and be on the receiving end of a drubbing. The comeback was amazing. Just such a pity that our joy is tempered by such a soft penalty in injury time. Still, I'm proud of the team, and all the management too. I'm sure we're all looking forward to a couple of good wins before New Year and beating our shadows again on 2 Jan.
  7. Well, I suppose we'd have settled for that after 10 mins, but still hugely disappointing after such a great fight back. Didn't see much in the penalty they got .
  8. wtf this is madness
  9. Just found it on a live stream. What the hell happened in first 15 mins?
  10. Excellent news. I'll try to avoid knowing the reult until then.
  11. Good question. For me, not much to choose between Davis and Draper, closely followed by Warren.
  12. Yes my congratulations too. Makes me feel young!!

  14. That was long before I was born The Rendezvous was one of my favourites too. I think it was still there right up to the 70s at least. I remember treating my old mother to a high tea there in the mid 60s, and she was horrified that it had cost 7 shillings and sixpence (37 and a half pence in today's money). I also liked the ice cream in the Ness Cafe, next door. A few of the chip shops had seating areas too, Pagliari's in Academy street, the West end in Eastgate, and I think the Young street one. Isn't it strange how fish suppers always seemed better in one's younger days?
  15. Yes, I noticed that stat on BBC and wondered about it. Doesn't seem to match up with the game reports. Sounded like a good game to miss, quality wise, but another great win, all the more so as it hacks off County and Adams big time.
  16. My head agrees with that but my heart says let's stuff em!!! Agree with OCG. Yes, the league is important, but so too would be an extended cup run, not only for the coffers, but also for the fans who have badly missed the cup runs in recent years. So full strength team for me.

  18. Wonderful to see that he has got over his shaky start and is proving that he was another good signing, alongside Draper and Warren. Even King looked OK before he got injured. I think these new boys have made the world of difference to us this year. Coupled with Doran and McKay finding form, and Foran too recently, it is no surprise that the whole team has done well and shot up the table. Has there been a better time to support ICT?
  19. 2nd place on our own. How pretty that looks. Well done everyone. Hope you've saved a bit for Tues night!
  20. Roberts not even on bench. Injured?
  21. H/T 1-1 F/T 3-1 ICT Draper Hibs Wotherspoon Crowd 3551
  22. Good news I suppose, even though these awards have often been 'kiss of death'. In Terry's case he must have been close for the October award, so getting it in November is justified, for the wins at 'Tic and Dons alone.
  23. It will be interesting how they plan to run the middle group of 8. They won't be able to do it on points accumulated to date, as they would have been acquired in two different leagues of 12. Perhaps the simplest is that they all start from scratch, although this too may be seen as unfair.
  24. Would have liked an easier draw, but could have been worse. Reasonable record at Killie.
  25. Getting back to the football, does anyone else think that Roberts could have done better defending the soft free kick from which County scored their 3rd goal? As part of the two man wall it seems to me he ducked away from the kick instead of trying to head it clear. Still, if that goal hadn't gone in we would have missed the thrilling last second equaliser, and the sheer joy of the contrasting reactions of the managers at the end.
