  1. Cant even find any info from the Dublin Cup site. The tourney itself involves youth teams from all over Ireland as well as some from other parts. This year included us, Rangers, Wolverhampton
  2. Alex MacLeod replied to jagster's topic in Caley Thistle
Was deffo there pies in the van at the north stand end and when I asked Mr Hastie himself he said that they intend to be there at all home games this season - It was a brand new catering van they had bought and they had one or two little hiccups but the steak pie was the same prices as the normal ones sold but with considerably more filling. I had 2:scarygrin: now you know who ate all the pies Before anyone builds up hope I dont think these will be in the servery's. Only on the van. I can see big queues and running out at the van.
  3. So we still can't get basic information skills right!! I really thought we would have learned by now. Maybe better to keep the stadium closed Sunday to Friday and employ someone part-time to update the website with specific information. Sorry caleyboy but the basic information has been on ICTFC.com since 18th July. If you read the article fully you'll see it states prices for three games and that for CIS game it states accompanied children free. Can they really be more clear than that. Read it here
  4. Is this a Scotland squad or a Rangers reunion? As for McGregor, I agree with the person who said the fingers was a childish mistake. I dont think he was signing to the Scottish fans. I think the fingers were solely for the snooping cameras. I do, however, think he should have been kicked out for the piss-up antics during a training camp. But, as he's the best we've got available I'm glad he has been called back in.
  5. The draw will take place on friday.
  6. That was quoted somewhere. The latest scan would have been to assess how well any injury has healed. It may well be that some level of exercise has been taking place as part of the healing process but I doubt either will be anywhere near full fitness. They are a month behind the rest of the squad as far as fitness and match fitness goes.
  7. Do they split all the takings from the shop and the hospitality and the program sales etc Einstien ? No they dont. Gate reciepts are totalled and, after all the expences of puting the game on, i.e police stewards referee's, SFA etc, whats left is split between the two. Better pies at Dingwall and we don't have all the overheads to foot such as stewarding. Einstein. Technically, if you read my comment above, we do.
  8. Had you, after crossing the road at the roundabout, taken the first right, just under the railway bridge, into Innes street, you could have rested your knee and lubricated your foot in the pub a hundred yards along the street, and met some interesting ICT fans.
  9. Admire the optimism, but we definitely need to keep our feet on the fround this season or risk being brought crashing back down to earth. Inverness cup......North of Scotland cup????
  10. I don't think anyone is blaming who ever is running the distribution of merchandise but WHY has no one else been employeed to help deal with the increase of demand that was invevitable once we won the league. Are we going to have to wait a couple years like last time before they realise we are an SPL club again? What would you rather, considering the lack of available funds at the moment? Spend on the playing squad or spend on backroom staff? Bear also in mind we have had to find funds for two teams so until the club can, once again, be seen to be established in this league, and can use that to bring in revenue, we will all have to be a little more patient and tolerant.
  11. At the end of our relegation season the staff numbers doing all the behind the scenes stuff were cut drastically. They have not been replaced. The person doing the shop, I believe, also does ticketing and other things. She is a very sweet lady who tries to please everyone but doesn't have enough hours in the day for the workload she has to handle at this point in the year. If you try phoning and cant get through to someone you can always e-mail : [email protected] Fans should either, go in person to the stadium, or, if phoning, have a bit of sympathy and patience. I dont know what the problem is with the club shop online, unless the site is being updated with new stock.
  12. Will they have official SPL numbering though?
  13. Stevie Caldwell's without a club at the minute.
  14. Big bag o sweets and a hooter to blow on
  15. Well done to Liam Polworth and Kyle Whyte on being selected for Scotland U-17's next week. Hope you both have a successful competition. Read here
  16. Could present a refereeing problem if we play both No 12's.
  17. What a picture.......a cod in a kilt with a tatooed bum Shouldn't this be in Rumours? (Sorry, been waiting all weekend for that opportunity) Its been over a day since this was posted and nobody has picked up on the joke!. Perhaps some folk think its second hand news. Perhaps some think "I don't want to know" but I think you are clearly a man of the world. Wondering whether this thread was going to go your own way must have seemed like an albatross round your neck. Oh well, I suppose I'd better give you a green dot (I'm right out of green manalishis, I'm afraid) I did but left it cos somebody would likely give me a negative reputation if I laughed
  18. Rookie manager???.........Robertson, Brewster, Christie......didn't do that bad at the time!!
  19. From what I've read and heard he's a chance not worth taking. I hear he picked up an injury during his trial. Young kid with prospects who, maybe peaked too early and was thrown in too deep, and now his body isn't able to cope. for his sake I sincerely hope thats not the case and i hope he has a future in the game.
  20. Excellent application - like it.... I agree Tichy B....maybe CTO online can introduce this in the future for our matchday threads! had never heard of that application before and only seeing it now after the event without the benefit of seeing it "live" but it looks like a decent wee app. Will investigate either for this site or as a recommendation to the offiial site to go hand in hand with the video service. Wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult to set up provided there were volunteers with laptops at the games prepared to give constant updates.
  21. As my prediction on the other thread was up to the split this is how I feel the season end will be: Celtic Dundee U Rangers Hearts Hibs Inverness Motherwell St Johnston Aberdeen Hamilton St Mirren Kilmarnock
  22. There's a lot for the future there and at least 3 will be on the bench cos, as far as I know, the U-21 rule still applies. We must also remember that those guys are going to be called upon to play U-19 league so, if selected in first team will need to be fit and strong enoung to play twice a week.
  23. If you dont like it dont buy it........simples Orion must have done something very bad to merit the outburst Marty
  24. What rubbish.....its ICT v Celtic therefore, for us, its the Celtic game. If we were playing the Speysiders I'd have said the Strathspey game. Does that make me a supporter of your lot Marty?
  25. I'd hazard a guess its because you have Dundee Utd top of the league and maybe ICT in the top 6 It's more to do with United being top. Someone could split the Old firm but they're aren't finishing higher than both of them. Caley being top 6 is always a slight possobility as there is always 1 top 6 place which changes a fair bit. Way back before last season started I suggested that we could go straight back up because I couldn't see anything from what other teams were doing that would stop us. I said that Dundee had brought in too many players that would not gel in the team. I didn't see County managing to sustain any success. I di, however, suggest the maybe Queens would run with us to the end. I was slated by many for my opinions at that time. I dont think United will win the SPL but I do think they could be top (just) at the split.
