Has signed for Maltese side Qormi.

Wasn't the best player but would have liked to see him stay. All the best Stuart!

I liked him as a player but he messed us around over his "I'd love to sign a new contract but I've been on holiday" shenanigans. Can't be bothered with him.

Qormi ?? Is that a football team for vegetarians??

Heard from a source a few months ago that he was attracting intrest from Cyprus (why i dont know). Agreed with whats been said, team would have looked alot better with him in it but his conduct over pre season was rather poor, good luck i suppose.

I was quite glad when he was gone. Never rated him at all.

heard sometimes Stuart couldn't be assed to training but still turned up looking to play on a saturday.

Nice enough guy.

One of my pals just got back from a holiday in Malta where Stuart Duff plays. As he was there with Duffs brother they decided to take in one of their games. Apparently the standard is so abysmal out there Duff is viewed as a 'Xavi' type player in the team

This is copied from the Qormi FC's Wiki page under the heading, "Notable players".

Stuart Duff was the club's record signing and upon agreeing the deal Qormi F.C. Chairman Mahatma Ghandi expressed his astonishment at securing Duff's services. "After his performances in Scotland, where he scored literally thousands of goals, it is surprising that he chose to play for a club of our small stature. That is the sign of a true gentleman." The £48million signing on fee is a Maltese record to this day.

Not surprisingly really since:

"Duff played three games for Ayr United as a trialist in September 2011. Astonishingly, this led to Duff being handed freedom of the city, as the local people were amazed by his performances both on and off the field"

Now rumoured to be signing for Dunfermline

Duff seems to have the IQ of Harry's Dog although allegedly he at least was able to open a bank account. On the face of it offered a good deal by ICT he has struggled to work out what to do since going from club to club country to country and probably convincing Dunfermline they would always be his first choice club. A friend of Macca.

Duffer, well he is now scoring the occasional goal. Probably one every 25 games in the SPL/Cup against SPL teams. So definately a duffer who is clearly not in Craigan's book of good professionals either.

He's signed for John Gregory's FC Kairat in Kazakhstan apparently.

Love the quote about the maltese league being terrible. Didn't Mikey Fraser get released by a maltese club?...
