Was thinking about this last night over a beer or two. We've had some relatively good players in our time but who's the best to ever play against Caley Thistle?

Hard to see past Henrik Larsson. But just how many did he put past us?

There's also Gazza & co from the Cup in 1995(ish?). Was Laudrup in that team?

You can also add in a load of players who history will show were great players, but not when they played against us eg Ian Wright, Mark Viduka. Did we ever face Moravcik or Hartson?

I'm also struggling to remember if Dundee All Stars had any of their big names players at the time we faced them in the semi at Hampden.

yeah we played against hartson a few tinmes

Gazza, Laudrup and Larsson.

Probably the best players to play in Scottish football in the last couple of decades.

I believe Lubo may even have been credited with a goal for us.

Although we all know it was Bobby's.

How could I forget!

I think Caledonian FC faced Gary Lineker in 1982-ish.

Found that team, some good players but no superstars at that point :

Speroni; Mackay, Wilkie, Khizanishvili, Hernandez; Rae, Nemsadze, Brady; Milne (Novo, 62), Lovell (Mair, 88), Caballero. Substitutes not used: Langfield (gk), Beith, Robb.

Easiest thing is just to pick the best players that have played in Scottish football but more interesting how about those players who seem to do well against ICT?

For me this would have to include Colin Nish and Steven (F**kin) Lovell, also remember Esson frustrating the sheet out of us while at Aberdeen. I'd probably add Lee Wilkie to my list, he always seems to score against us too.

Was it still Jim Leighton in goal when we played Aberdeen? He made a brilliant save at the end of the replay to stop us equalising.

The best, for me, was Craig Bellamy.

I remember we played Celtic on a nightgame up here, think we lost 2-0? He was the difference between the two teams. Stunning pace, and just an all round top player.

not many scots thought of a best! Did Cannigia ever play against us? What about Craig Gordon, as a Scottish Goalie, or even McGregor. It would be interesting to list a best of all players who have graced the Stad de Caley, from keeper, manager and supersubs. Have to say one player who usually tore us apart was Russel Latapy

Bobby Mann obviously is right at the top of the list.

i'll have to say burnley squad for great wins over prem teams

Mendes was a class above the rest of the players on show when they beat us 3-0. Easily the best player I've seen at the TCS for a few season.

I think Ian Wright played for Celtic in the 1-3 game but im not too sure...
