Team For St. Mirren

Even though it's a couple of weeks away yet, I'd go with the 3-4-3. Attacking football is needed to win every game I reckon. Esson's out unless ICT win the appeal.

Don't normally like Black playing the holding role, but after yesterday, we need more creativity in the middle.

The only sightings the midfield had of the ball yesterday was when it about 60ft above their heads.....

Team should not even be considered until TB/MM see how the guys respond to yesterday's shambles. Probably the most important training sessions of the season coming up and the guys have to prove they are up for it before being considered for a jersey

Could Esson really make an appeal?

Did anyone see it?

whos ronney? is he any good like :rotflmao:

if we want to win matches we had to go out attacking.

Surely Rooney can't keep his place after his last 2 performances. Whenever he starts the team seems to play badly. I can't think of any exceptions.

hes better than barrowload.

Maybe be better if odhiambo starts instead of rooney. Someone with pace

I would still perservere with Munro but that - as usual - davie - is pretty spot on.

Care to comment on dropping Lionel ? :rotflmao:

I would rather go with Royston ahead of Dick against Midden aswell tbh.

i would choose Hastings over McBain every time at left back. Why? because Hastings is a natural left back where as McBain is a left midfielder who is capable of covering at left back if totally necessary

Fraser

Tokely - Mihadjuks - McGuire - Hastings

Proctor - Black - Kerr - Morais

Imrie - Foran

Dorman is the big threat so Tokely and Proctor to take care of him. We're at home, so don't need an out-and-out defensive midfielder, so Kerr (who isn't a defensive midfielder - I don't know why ICT fans constantly insist he is) and Black playing the traditional central midfield duo (the old box-to-box, defend-pass-attack routine). Eric would be so nearly in there but I'll give Imrie another chance with Morais on the left. Easy to switch them round too and try that.

Munro out. I know most will be surprised at McGuire but he's been a more than decent player in the past, so maybe with Magics alongside, that'll be experience enough. Munro is going through a bad patch and we just can't afford that. Hastings is more reliable than Djebi-Zadi. We all guessed it was a purple patch, so now he's coming out of it, let's get back to someone more reliable. Anyone in midfield doesn't perform, McBain should be straight in as a replacement. He's been unlucky not to get his place back as he's been close to player of the season so far.
