Our most creative player

The subject of creativity has cropped up recently on various threads regarding potential new signings, and it's clearly something the fans crave. A successful team needs someone with the skill and imagination to do something unpredictable that will unlock a defence.

So who is our most creative player?

Pretty depressing answer if you ask me, whoever you picked.

Lionel has been pretty impressive...3 overhead bicycles kicks all resulting in goals so far this season. Even more impressive when you consider he ran 60 yards to get on the end of each of them.

It's very worrying when you think about it like that. I think we might be pretty solid next season but we don't have one single player who can create chances with a clever through ball or take a man on and deliver a decent cross. As things stand, our most creative player is Dougie Imrie, but he can't be relied upon for consistency, nor does he have the quality to carry the team when its not playing well in the way that Barry Wilson or David Bingham used to. If this issue isn't addressed soon then we might find it difficult to break down the likes Montrose and Annan, never mind Dundee.

Have you taken your tablets ?

Atm i don't really think we have one. Cox from what little i've seen in pre-season.

do something unpredictable

Lionel certainly ticks that box and could actually be our most creative player.

Trouble is, when it comes to unlocking a defence, it tends to be our own.

Would have to be Tokely. When he's on one of his marauding runs down the right wing you just never know what could happen ! :015:

On a serious note.....i agree :015:

Barry Wilson or Bingo in seasons gone by.

As for the present.. Hmmm.

Foran is capable of creating many chances.

Also think Cox could be creating a lot of opportunities for us this season.

I also agree and a bit puzzling why Butcher has said he will be using as a centre back this season
