Horses for courses Jock.

dont think **** be match fit as he was only at county remember  :016: :016: :016: :016:

With Dargo being back to partner Bayne on the pitch and McAllister on the bench there was no need for him.  Only serves to strengthen the line of thought that he is here to offer cover should it be needed.

Oh, OK guys.  Thanks.

It's a fair question Jock and as you rightly point out he wasn't even on the bench, so what was Charlie thinking about when he took him on?

It has been widely reported that he isn't yet match fit.  No point having him in the squad if we have enough fit players.

You just can't win with some people.  When news broke that he had signed they didn't want him anywhere near the team, and now his name isn't on the team sheet they are up in arms asking why!!!!!

so true

I totally understand, but you can't be shouting the guy is crap and should never be in the team etc one minute then complaining he's not the next!!!

The problem in understanding lies with those who fail to see the fact that he was signed as cover and as stated above, may not be match fit.  If we were to base our squad on not signing people unless they go on the teamsheet then we would be working from a squad of no more than 18 players.

I'm not. I still maintain he is gash and I am perfectly happy he wasn't there on Saturday  :001:

'You just can't win with some people'

Aye you got that feckin right, can't see us winning with that crock!!

Your the one wanting him on the team sheet  :017:

I like many other fans never wanted the fecker anyway.

[retorical question]So you were just complaining for the sake of complaining when you were questioning why he wasn't even on the bench on Saturday???[/retorical question]

As I said, you just can't win with some people!!!

Try RETORICAL with an aitch before you slag busso.

How I love these logical, sensible debates, with so many worthwhile contributions from so many informed & enlightened, supporters(?)

Come next summer some on here will likely be questioning why McSwegan hasn't signed an extention yet :001:

I wasn't complaining, just asking a simple question from the other side of the world!

It had occurred to me that having had such an easy win against the Well, if he had played just a wee while he might have scored a goal and increased his confidence in his recovery!

He was on the radio this morning, saying that his match fitness was getting there having now played 3 games in 2 weeks.  He is hoping for a chance in the first team soon.  (Off the bench on Saturday possibly).  Think that would be a good idea depending on how the game is going as he will be a relatively unknown quantity to the Utd team.  Seems he had quite a good game for the reserves last night.

With Bayne playing so well a fit McSwegan might knock Denzil still further down the pecking order as far as forward places are concerned.
