Bleh, that's cheating. They got nothing on the "quality" of SPL competition. Mind you, friendlies are more so for getting 'match fit' again.. Och well, we'll see.

Also a chance for the fans to get "match fit" again. Even better when its somewhere different from the usual places in SPL/SFL/Highland league

Not sure how reliable this site is but it is suggesting the Fleetwood Town game is on Saturday, 24th July. Fleetwood's own site is not yet confirming the fixture.

The European team we are set to play has been announced as Royal Antwerp from Belgium

The report in the courier (no link avalibale yet) also says that the trip to blackpool is in doubt as only we could only guarantee the fleetwood fixture and were struggling to find another team to play

Why doesn't the club make an open day this summer on the day the new home top is released. A match between ICT and ICT would be a good idea and i think it would pull in more than your usual highland league friendlies. It would give us a chance to look at 22 players from the ICT Squad and along with other "open day" themes would make for a great family day out.

Hopefully we'll be able to find another team down the road got the weekend booked off for a nice wee trip down the sea side

Royal Antwerp are the team that have a tie-up with Man U, and get a lot of their youngsters on loan. They've had the likes of O'Shea and Chadwick in recent years.

And like most Belgian teams, they are likely to have quite a few players from Africa and maybe even South America, because Belgium gives out work permits a lot more readily than other EU countries.

Im wanting to head down as well so come on Maurice get another game sorted.

I also planned to build a wee holiday out of the Seaside trip so i hope it goes ahead!

Looking forward to this one!

Royal Antwerp played Falkirk and Dundee last season and took very decent support with them who seemed to enjoy their trip:

Falkirk Linkage ->

Dunde linkage->

They also played Bristol City a couple of seasons back and took a massive support with them.

Bristol City Linkage ->

They're a bit of a sleeping giant of Belgian football but are currently languishing in the 2nd division. As pointed out by Yngwie they have a tie-up with Man United and will have a fair few African players in their ranks.

At the moment we dont have a squad of 22

Saturday 7th August we play Royal Antwerp :P

Will this be the first time we've had royalty at TCS since Wyness left?

No, we have Queen's Park the week before and Queen of the South all of last season. :lol:

And we have many fans from the house of King Ussie

You see near the start of the Dundee video the fans about to start dancing and doing the conga like the falkirk one only for a steward to come down the stairs quickly to tell them to stop it :D

We also had:-

Queens Park Rangers for a friendly

Prince Bauben for Dundee United.............errrmm, and Dundee who were crowned Champions before the season started.................woohooooooooooo, ferkin relentless.

Quite a big coup getting these chaps to TCS. Although I didn't realise they have somewhat bombed in recent years and now play in the 2nd tier of Belgian football.

It will be a wicked atomosphere at the game, in the away end :023:

It's true we're a bit of a sleeping giant. We played the Uefa Cup final in Webley in 1993, but it all went downhill from there. We're the oldest club in Belgium, this year we celebrate our 130th birthday.

In good times we still have a massive crowd (Belgian standards).

(this was a match in the play offs in second division)

The Falkirk visit last year was fun, but the club announced it just a few weeks before so not a lot of fans made the trip. Bristol and Hull was total madness :023:

Oh yeah, we have a **** team.

Can't wait for a new trip to Scotland :023:

Falkirk and dundee was amazing... Hull City, Bristol, ... always a great away-support !

Falkirk Linkage ->

Dunde linkage->

Bristol City Linkage ->

Bristol was just amazing ... 1000 lads... Let's go ******* mental !

Welcome AntwerpOne

Nice clip.

I was hoping you might make it up to the Jupiler League this season.

Do you think you'll take many fans to Inverness?

Welcome to the CTO Forum guys.....looking forward to the game against yourselves.

If you need any information or have any questions about Inverness travel/accommodation/pubs etc then ask away and we'll do what we can to help.

I can't wait to come to Scotland, the game is probably going to be awful (cuz our team is pretty bad, and right now we only have about 14 players) but the atmosphere is going to be crazy !

The plan is to take the airplane to Edinburgh, then hop on the train to Inverness. We"ll probably make it a 5 day trip, so if you have any recommendations on what we should do during those days, always welcome !
