seems he is a free agent on doing a google search. couldnt hurt to have another striker...if he knows wherre the net is but would depend on his attitude to coming up and wage demands

I suspect every club in the land has been offered this guy, so I wouldn't get too excited.

Having years with Man Utd and England (up to U20) on his CV is very impressive - which just begs the question why hasn't he been able to find a club over the summer?

Whether it is ridiculous wage demands, an injury, or he's just not very good I have no idea, but it seems a bit suspicious to me and I'm sure Terry will be wary.

Had a bad leg break and appears to have gone down the English leagues since - but can beggars be choosers ?

well Golabart can also play as a CF, so i think we are ok! Wouldn't say no though

I would take him. We definatly need another striker plus you arn't at Man United for no reason. Seems to be an unlucky player who could do with a another chance.

There is a slight difference in so much that while McDonald was at Arsenal, he only played at youth level before being punted to Ipswich - Brandy was in the actual team, but never played a game for the first team. He's also played for the England U20s.

Thing to notice as well is that he isn't much of a goal scorer at club level - 8 goals in 59 games at club level - 8 goals in 17 games internationally.

If he is a free agent, then we dont have to sign him by the deadline, so he can be properly assessed. If he has promise what he may well need is time and fitness
