At McDiarmid on Saturday, whilst averting my eyes from what was happening on the pitch, I spotted a couple of things that you wouldn't expect to see at an SPL ground.

1) A bird table (in the corner between ourselves and the empty North Stand)

2) An advertising hoarding for the Scottish Conservatives

What quirky things have you come across at away grounds?

Being in among the Press this season, I've seen a LOT of oddities!!!

Just wait till next year Yngwie you'll see a motorway where that bird table is.

Victoria Park in Dingwall; very often you can be watching a game with a couple of hundred unfortunate others yet when the announcer reveals the attendance there are a few thousand invisible spectators hidden somewhere out of sight

I once saw a bar of soap at Celtic Park

most of the home fans when i went to watch a pre season game at elgin

The "owl" at Tynecastle - the famous hedge at Brechin - the portaloos at Gretna.

Those were the Cyclops at Tinkerville and you really have to be brain damaged to support Elgin.

The very pleasant stewards at Starks was very unusual. Top guys and gals though - made attending there very enjoyable.
