OwainTudor-Jones verbally agrees new contract

Couldnt see this posted anywhere else. (if it is a duplicate, Mods feel free to delete)

it appears that Owain Tudor Jones has verbally agreed a new contract, no idea for how long as the only source I can find says:

In additions to the new faces, it’s understood that Welsh international midfielder Owain Tudor Jones has now verbally agreed a new contract which he will ink when Butcher returns from holiday next week.

He had a really bad season last year for injuries and i dont think we ever got to see Owain at his best. He always appeared assured on the ball and had a good range of passing. Hopefully if he does indeed sign on again that he can get a full pre-season and start the season fresh and injury free as i'm sure he can bring a lot to the team

Agreed, if we can keep him fit he will become a key player for us, no doubt about that.

Great use of tabloidese there - 'ink a contract'. When I worked as a contractor, I never 'inked' a contract.

Very pleased, with a good pre season, be like a new signing. Ah the football talk.

Good news showed in patches what he can do last season but was never 100% fit IMO.

Good news, if he can stay fit there's Tansey's replacement sorted. Now where did I put that cotton wool...

Glad he will be staying with us need a few more international players to join

McFadden, Black and Clarkson !!

We going for the league next year?

Is this the same "sign a contract when he returns from holiday" scenario as the one Hayes is meant to being doing with Aberdeen but still hasn't some two weeks later.

Long holidays!
